First, it took them a week to call to set up the appointment, whereas I was told they'd be in touch within 24-48 hours. I was living on opioids in the meantime. When they finally called, I was working so they left a message. When I returned the call, I was on hold for about 15 minutes before being forced to leave a message. They took 3 days to call back. When they did, the line was barely audible. The representative didn't tell me that there were other imaging options closer to me (which I later found out they were supposd to), so I had to drive for an hour and a half to get to their closest location. Not a pleasant trip with a herniated L1 disk. When I got to the clinic, they had instead mistakenly scheduled me for two days later. Three hours' drive and $15 gas for nothing. Talking with another patient in the parking lot afterwards, they reported similar issues: slow response, clerical mistakes made, lots of excuses, but little interest in making things right. To their credit, the manager of that particular clinic gave me a call within an hour, but it was largely to make excuses as to why it was not their fault, and saying the problems I experienced were under another manager's purview. I asked if that person could give me a call. About an hour later, right at the end of their business day, I got a call from an unknown number that rang once and hung up before I could answer. Five minutes later, a voicemail appeared with a long, but vague and half-decipherable message, again with excuses, but no real attempt at resolution. Personally, I would rather pay $250 extra bucks out of pocket than entrust my health to a company that runs the administrative side of their business is such a slipshod manner.

I believe that the situation is due not to a lack of desire, but a lack of office staff execution and double-checking. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR MRI. We went here for my daughter's mri. My daughter's exam was in…read moreMarch, they sent the bill to a collections agency 2 months after the test, in May! We were waiting to pay the bill for coordination of benefits to go through on our insurance. Once our insurance sent them an estimation of benefits showing how much we actually owed them ($1400) they had already sent it to the agency. The collections agency billed us $2300. We paid it on the assumption as told us by the agency that Mountain Medical would send us the difference of what we paid and what was allowed by insurance ($900) once they got our payment. We have been calling Mountain Medical for payment. They only referred us back to the agency. We called the attorney with the agency and she refers us back to Mountain Medical, who says that they never got record of the insurance claim even though we have sent them the EOB several times. This place is FRAUDULANT. They will send your bill to collections less than 2 months after you are billed before insurance pays, then you will be responsible for what the entire bill is without insurance. I promise you, it has been a complete nightmare. If I was wealthy enough or an attorney myself I would expose them for their lying fraudulant ways .You WILL end up paying the entire bill before insurance, just as a warning!
