I decided to update the place to a 4 star after receiving care at this facility. Recently I had sclerotherapy done and it definitely improved the look of some undesirable veins on my legs. This is not a process you want to do if you are afraid of needles or if you have heart issues as you get injections of adrenaline. The doctor was exactly 1 hour late to the appointment as he was for every appointment I have made at this facility. I guess you can look at it that he takes his time with his patients, but plan accordingly. read more

The staff was very friendly and courteous, and Dr. Jensen is professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. We felt like he was not only our physician, but our friend. The BEST care I've ever had from a clinic. The staff were amazing, they were so friendly and were so nice to answer all of my questions. Dr Jensen is seriously one of the coolest doctors I've met. Super nice again he answered all my questions, he made me feel comfortable during the procedure. The procedure went super smooth, and him and his MA talked me all the way through it. (To be completely transparent. I have copied and pasted the same review I gave him from Google, but I mean every word of it, and Dr. Jensen has been fantastic to work with!) Dr. Jensen is the best medical professional I've ever received treatment from. He is personable, extremely knowledgeable, and always takes the time to address any concerns of his patients. I came in with a bad varicose vein that had been troubling me for years. It would get hot and painful and fill with blood. The procedure was in office, quick, and very patent centric. It has been an incredible turn around, and I am now fully healed and able to enjoy so much more of life. I cannot recommend him highly enough! read more

6 minutes ago NEW I had an appointment that was scheduled 3 months in advance. When I showed up, I waited in the waiting room for over an hour before they told me he was going to be another 30 minutes at least. I overheard the staff talking about him being able to see the patient after me and hoping I would reschedule. They told me I could reschedule but they have no idea if I'll be waiting over an hour again and that I could call the morning of to see if he's behind. Because this is a busy time of year. They told me they could've called me today to let me know the doctor was behind but they were short staffed. This whole experience was very unprofessional and frustrating, especially since I live an hour away. I would recommend finding somewhere else to go unless you don't mind spending hours of your time for nothing. read more

Worst office manners ever. We sat waiting for an appointment while the receptionist loudly chatted away with a friend/client having a conversation not appropriate for a business setting. The Dr. was running so far behind after we had been told we would be promptly taken to a room we sat for 35 minutes then we had to step up and ask how much longer and then was told a few more minutes. Finally another employee could sense our frustration and she went to find out how much longer it would be. After being told we had to wait another 15 min we got up and left. Anyone that conducts business in this manner with employees that act like high school gossip we will not be returning. read more

I have had the best experience at Utah Vein Specialists. The receptionist is so welcoming. She made me feel like we were best friends as soon as I came in. As a person that chooses businesses and doctors based on reviews I had to make sure I got on here. This man is a literal gem of a doctor. He is so kind, thorough, and does everything possible to make you the most comfortable though your procedure. I really had the best experience here. What I love is that he doesn't rush his time with you; you're not just a number like they're moving you down a factory line. He takes the time to talk to you, explain it all, let you ask a 100 questions (hi, it's me) and made me feel like I was the only patient there. Have to mention that the rest of the staff are all amazing and I especially loved the ladies in the front... sweetest girls ever! Felt like I was talking to friends. I had a huge vein removed from each leg back in 2016 at Utah Vein Specialists, both running from my thighs to my ankles. Dr. Peter Jensen was nice, and did the vein pulling and removal with no pain while I was listening to music and we were chatting about this or that. The only thing I felt was a tug here and there. After it was all done, and I was scheduled for after procedure checks, I noticed that I had a huge squishy lump in my private part. I called and they got me in right away, and with the ultrasound Dr. Jensen found that I had an inguinal hernia. I loved that they didn't just push me off and tell me to go to my family doctor! When I started we had one insurance, and ending we had another. So, many hoops to jump through with the first insurance. The office staff was nice and friendly to me, but Dr. Jensen knew about insurance requirements, and calmly explained insurance timelines, etc. I was pleased with how the insurance was charged, and what we paid was in line of what we were estimated. My veins haven't come back and now I can stand and cook for long periods of time in the kitchen again! read more

I was a little disappointed arriving at Utah Vein Specialists. I had called ahead of time to schedule a free screening and had told the receptionist I spoke to I was really only interested in pricing and wanted to get an estimate. She said that was just fine and it would cost nothing. When I arrived at my appointment, both receptionists were quite unfriendly. Neither smiled or welcomed me. After filling out my paperwork I overheard one receptionist mention a possible ultrasound to my insurance agent. I immediately stopped her and explained I was there solely for the free screening and to get pricing. She seemed very annoyed and told me consultations are not free, screenings are and I was scheduled for a consultation. Her overall attitude was quite off-putting. When I did speak to the doctor he was really friendly and did go over a lot of recommendations and some pricing. I wish I would have felt more listened to when scheduling and upon arriving, but I would still return because the doctor made up for some of my frustration. read more
