This has got to be one of the most trust worthy and quality shops in Hayward. I contacted Ray to have him install new brake drums and pads on my Tacoma that I had purchased on my own accord. Ray completed the install in a matter of an hour or two. There ended up being a small issue with one of the brake shoes that I had purchased due to a small defect in the pad. It was making a little bit of a clicking noise so I contacted Ray and he instructed me to bring the truck back to him so he could take a look. Ray diagnosed the issue and fixed the problem at no charge! Keep in mind This issue was solely a manufacture defect and no fault of Rays but he went above and beyond to make sure it was right for me. I am writing a negative review for Ray's Wheelhouse due to several reasons. My boyfriend and I took his 2013 Chevy Silverado truck in for lift quotes. First, I must say, he has very unprofessional and disrespectful workers. As we were talking to a shorter man, some guys were commenting on my breasts and butt in Spanish. Little did they know that I speak Spanish too! Can we say HARRASSMENT??!! Had my boyfriend understood what was said he'd have hurt them bad. Second, the place is a rip-off. It is way overpriced. Ray needs to do some better research on his competition. We ended up taking the truck to Custom Modified Experts on Enterprise. Also, the shop's location is sketchy. It's small, there is no place to really park, and it's dirty. If you want quality service, professionalism, honesty, and great prices do NOT go here. Instead, take your vehicle to Custom Modified Experts. We were happy with those guys. read more
