Got a few things repaired and fixed from a past experience where a guy did my car dirty. He tightened bolts for my struts and sway bar and links for just 20 bucks and 95 bucks for an alignment and now it's not steer bumping when I drive (which was scary!) got me in same day and explained what was going on thoroughly and wanted to ensure I got the right parts for my vehicle and didn't want to up charge me!!! I unfortunately had a nail in my tire on my busy day so I needed to get my tire fixed asap. My boyfriend recommended Ray's Wheelhouse to me as he's been here previously. I gave them a call as they opened, and the guy who picked up informed me that if I just needed to fix the tire, I did not need an appt. Upon arriving, I waited maybe 15 mins before they were able to get me in. Once my car was in the garage, it went by quick. I saw the mechanic fix my tire in a timely manner but he made sure everything was okay. There was another mechanic who would then make sure all the air pressure in my tires were all the same and added more in each of them. I was quoted $25 for the tire. I requested a quote for some suspension work and he replied quickly and was able to service my Tacoma that very same day! Came by to get wheel and tires measurement so that I can order with Ray new aftermarket ones that we know would fit. After measurement, he said he would contact the vendor for the wheels and call me back to purchase the next day. I called him at end of day because I didnt get any calls from him and asked him about the vendor and he said he would call me back in 20 minutes. Never called back so the next day around noon, I called him again and he said he would call the vendor and call me back. Again, never called me back by end of day so I tried calling him again and this time, no more pick ups and no call backs. Ray seems like an honest mechanic and while I was there I could see he was very busy but this certainly shouldnt be an excuse to ignore customers and waste their time. Maybe take time management skill classes or invest in hiring a receptionist to manage the work but I certainly wouldn't be going or recommending this shop anymore. read more

My car was in need of an alignment very badly. I had to wait until the weekend to get it done because by the time I'm off work, most places are already closed. I called another establishment prior to calling Ray's Wheelhouse to find out how long it would take to align my car, they said an hour and a half but I could leave it there so that the guy working on it could take his time and I could pick it up in 6 hours. I thought that was insane. Then, I called Ray's Wheelhouse. I was told about 40 minutes. I'm so glad it only took me two phone calls to find this place. I drove there straightaway (no pun intended) and was in and out of there. The price I was charged was even better than the competition. I can't believe I have not written a 5 star review for Ray yet, he is amazing! We found him last year right around the holidays because our insurance were being buttheads and said they couldn't find anyone that was able to take our vehicle in and that was willing to work with them, so I called Ray who picked up IMMEDIATELY and said "Yeah no problem bring it on over!" Problem was the insurance was also having an issue with getting our vehicle from the tow yard (basically we should probably have looked for better insurance...) BUT we explained to Ray what was going on and he still said "No problem!!" I was still a little skeptical considering we actually already had a bad morning with other mechanics... but Ray kept me completely updated when my car was finally dropped off to him, kept me updated when he met with the insurance assessors, he also gave me a heads up that due to Christmas being the following week, parts may likely be delayed-which I figured would be the case. Even better, Ray called me to let me know parts came in - sooner than expected, and even better, Ray got our car back to us the day before Christmas Eve. This place is really affordable and served with honesty. I've been procrastinating on getting my brakes fixed for over a year and recently my AC stopped working (due to leakage) mainly due to the fact that I don't trust mechanics, and dread having to deal with them. My bro recommended Ray's Wheelhouse and my dad was raving about it. That is speaking volume given my dad is super cheap and always had issues with prior mechanics. I knew this place had to be that good. I setup an appointment with Ray via phone during the long weekend and he was available that day and the next day... so I setup sometime a couple days later on a Monday morning 10am. Parking lot is a bit cramped so I just parked in front of a bunch of cars temporarily. Ray took my car and worked on the AC for about half an hour, then I told him to check my brakes and he did that, but it took another few hours. Fortunately I didn't have to wait there and got picked up... although I had to call/text him to follow-up. While I was waiting I treated myself to a chocolate and a coffee, which they provided complimentary. The finish time took longer than anticipated, but I didn't mind given it was the holiday and I didn't need my car. Got my car by end of business day. The check out process was quick, he showed cost and the breakdown of what he's charging me for on his computer screen. Total came out to $420, which is pretty affordable for labor and fixing my brakes. I hit a pothole on the freeway at about 75 mph when coming back from Vacaville. My front end was shaking pretty bad and it was hard to steer. I needed to get the car fixed at a place close to where I live and as soon as possible. I stumbled across Ray's Wheelhouse. I requested a quote for a front end alinement. Ray responded back at 5:30 AM. I was able to take my car in that morning at 9:30 and the repairs were done and I was able to pickup my car by 1:00. Couldn't beat the price. My mechanic moved to Vegas and I was in dire need of another one... 2019 Accord (lowered on springs) - needed to have adjustable lower rear control arms w/ adjustable toe installed because the toe was way off. Used the 'quote request' option on Yelp to several shops and Ray responded first. He gave me a quote i couldn't refuse w/ alignment included! When I got to the shop I noticed several different type of cars (late 60s mustang, lifted 2ton pickup, early 90s accord, 70s chevy caprice?). If the owners of these cars trust Ray, include me too. LCAs were installed and now my car's tires thank him. 2010 Civic (stock) - bought this used car and noticed that there was excessive vibrations when i started it early in the morning. The whole dash was shaking. Popped the hood and asked my son to shift the gears...yup engine was 'twerkin'. Noticed that the passenger side upper motor mount was shot.
