This was my second visit to Prestige in a year, and while I'm extremely sad to learn that the owner, Rob, has retired, I'm happy to report that his right-hand man, Rocco, is now at the helm, continuing the same high-quality customer service and expert auto repairs we've all come to know and love. When I recently noticed a dent in my bumper, I didn't hesitate to drive straight to Prestige. Rocco greeted me with warmth and respect, taking the time to explain the cost, timeline, and details of the repair, even though it was a minor job. It was about 5:30 p.m. in early March on a Saturday and the sun was still out when I called them from the nearest home, about a half mile hike from my vehicle. My vehicle was stuck in snow. They said because of the distance it would take them 1.5 hours to 2 hours to show up. The reality is that I was a 34 minute drive from the headquarters, according to Google Maps. They didn't give me any sense of how much the service would cost. By the time they showed up, around 6:45 p.m., it was cold and dark. It wasn't strange weather conditions though -- it wasn't raining, snowing, and the temperature was just under freezing, if I recall correctly. We had no access to cell service where we were located or once we left the house so we couldn't call around for other choices. The head office had radio service with their truck driver. The truck driver told me it took him 20 minutes to get to the site from his previous job. The office said, through the truck driver, service would be $340. We tried to bargain with them. They declined. All they did for actual work was use a winch to pull the vehicle out of the off road patch of snow, which took about 10 minutes or less.

The next day, after driving it less than 40 miles, the transmission hose which they replaced, became detached causing my engine to catch on fire. My van was a TOTAL LOSS. When I went to the garage to speak to them about it, Rich, the garage supervisor would have nothing to do with me acting as if I wasn't there. Jerry Erichsen, the owner, also wanted nothing to do with me. In addition, he wanted to charge my insurance company a storage of $1500.00!!!!! In closing, I would like to say that, not only is Jerry Erichsen a poor businessman, but I feel he is also dishonest.

The finished product looked better than I had hoped for. The paint is smooth and consistent, and the overall quality of the work speaks for itself. They took the same care with a couple of trim pieces as they would with a much larger job. The turnaround time was also incredibly fast. I expected to be without the parts for several days, but they were finished much sooner than I anticipated. Between the quality of the work, the quick turnaround, and pricing that was far more reasonable than the other quotes I received, I wouldn't hesitate to come back for future paint work.
