Igor of RBChome Locksmith is incredible!! My fiance and I just moved to Cleveland and purchased our…read morefirst home together. I messaged Igor on Yelp a few days before we closed on our house to see if he would be able to come out to our house the day we got our keys so he could rekey our doors. He was super accommodating and told me to let him know when we were finally allowed in our house and he would come over. Fast forward to the day we closed, he stopped by at 4:30 pm and was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. He had to rekey 5 doors in total in an almost 100-year old house. Not an easy thing to do! He was at our home for about 3 hours working away and we were grateful for his service and for allowing us to feel safe in our new home right away. As new homeowners who just dropped a lot of money during closing, we were a little sticker shocked at the total cost, but he was well worth it and he put in a LOT of time and effort re-keying our doors...so we expected to pay a little over $300 anyways. If you are a new homeowner and need to get your doors re-keyed OR if you just are looking for a friendly, reliable locksmith in the area, look no further than Igor. We will definitely hire him again should we need to! Thanks Igor!

(I lost my car keys, how do you expect me to get there?) After reviewing his info from google, it says he comes to you day or night, through any emergency. That's great, if it would have been the case...but it wasn't. I contacted him at 8 am and he said to call him in a couple hours. Then said he could have it after 6pm. Not very reliable. Would be a one star but if you're willing to drive to him somehow, the price for a simple key is fair, I suppose.

Ely is an honest man, and did right by me, and my family. He has gone out of his way to help us with a key issue that we have been going crazy trying to solve. He exceeded my expectations, and changed my initial impression of him. This is a first, and left me glad that people actually still do good, honest business in this country. On my daughters reccomendation I tried The Lock Guy on one of my visits. Even he will admit it was not easy, but between him and his partner they looked through his inventory of thousands of blanks and found one that was close. This was not a mere business tranaction, he took the search for a duplicate blank personally. After about 25 minutes he found one that was close and cut it. In addition he gave it to me on the "honor system" trusting me to pay him if it worked and not pay him if it did not. I returned to Pittsburgh and tried it a few days later. While not a perfect fit, it worked! This kind of customer service is almost unheard of in this day and age. If you need a strange key cut and you live within three hours of Cleveland go to "The Lock Guy." You will not be disappointed.

When I called back, I got a different person who I guess didn't want to deal with me. So, she took my information and promptly hung up on me. So I called back because... what the heck, right. This time I get a third person who doesn't know what is going on either. So, he puts me on hold for awhile so he can call the woman who hung up on me and then they both come back on the line like a junior high group call. All I can ascertain is that the second person I spoke with got confused or annoyed when I spoke with her and assumed the other dispatcher was working on my call. If anyone would have bothered to have some patience or customer service maybe they would have been able to sort this out. But, drama and hijinks ensued while I am sitting locked out in the cold. But, whatever, the next locksmith I called was friendly, more affordable and at my door in 5 minutes. So, thanks for being shitty I guess.
