The owner is very very sweet! Please support this business if you can. The food tasted amazing and it was a good portion with generous amount of protein. I will be back

Fire I'm surprised Dixon has something like this. Their loaded fries are pretty flavorful and also the gyros are 10/10 wish they were bigger. Their sauce is really good. Better than Kiki's also good customer service.

    Cheese burger and loaded fries

FOOD WAS FIRE I got a cheese burger with the saucy fries, and the loaded fries. Cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly, would definitely come back again. Best halal food in Dixon! Ray was super quick, he told me he makes all the meat fresh, and nothing is frozen. Quality was amazing, he has a nice little bench area too to sit on. Good ambiance.

Food was delicious and fresh. Was greeted with a smile. Was a spontaneous food night, and our app pointed us to Ray's glad it did.

We were in Downtown Vacaville for an event that ended at 8pm and resorted to Yelp for place to eat…read more Falafel & Gyro was still open, just over a mile away; and with a 4.8 Yelp rating, this place intrigued me even more. It was a 5 minute drive, located in a small shopping center. The left side of the store is facing the parking lot while the entrance is on other side. Plenty of parking. We were welcomed by the owner, Safi. Everything on their menu was reasonably priced. I initially ordered the Combo Plate and lamb & beef Gyro; then after I paid, I saw the Philly Cheesesteak and had a craving for that instead. I asked if I could still change my order and pay the difference in cash, Safi changed my order and told me not to worry about the difference. We dined in, a few minutes later our food came with generous portions and absolutely delicious! We were also given orange slices and complimentary baklava. The baklava was so flaky and not soaked in syrup which, I like. I asked if they make their own baklava and was told that it's ordered from Sacramento to support another local business! Thank you Yelp Fam for the recommendation! I too recommend this place if ever in Vacaville.

And delicious, I would definitely get it again. My companion got a falafel gyro, she said it was perfect. The falafel patties are flavorful and not dry, which is sometimes the issue with falafel. The restaurant is comfy, with the cleanest quick-food bathroom I've seen in a LONG time. It was very quiet at 2pm on a Friday. Our food was cooked to order, so it tasted fresh and was hot. We split a piece of baklava. I didn't think I like baklava, based of all of my previous experiences with it. I stand corrected! I'm tempted to stop and get more to take home when we drive back through Vacaville.

With the student discount and a drink our total came out to about $30, which I think is a pretty good deal. I have to agree with a lot of the comments here in saying that the falafel is really good. The falafel was nice and moist, not dry at all and that perfect balance of like crumbly, but still able to maintain it shape. It appeared really well with the rice and the sauce. Speaking of which, sauces. They do not skip. My only complaint about the platter is that there aren't a ton of veggies/salad, but that's really not that big of a deal. The veggies are pretty good though, they've got a sauce and seasoned well. The gyro platter itself was pretty good, I actually really liked that the meat isn't shaved, rather it's cubed. It makes the meat feel and taste a lot more tender and juicy, as I find the shaved meat can run a little dry. Not much to say about service or ambience, as I wasn't really there for that or really paying attention. The person that was running the register was kind enough. I totally forgot until after we had ordered that they are known for their burgers. Will stop by at a later date to give that a try and update the review.

Both are good and would come back to both, just different vibes and styles of food. These two definitely cheaper and better to go to than Royal Kabob. Falafel Corner is more take-outey less homey vibes, less vegetables. Hummus has less rich taste, but as a non Middle Eastern person I think it's still authentic, just more take out vibe. Compared to Sam's, less bread but good especially when hot, no red sauce, more meat, less vegetables, less flavorful rice. I like Sam's better, but I understand the high reviews and would bring others here.

This weekend was a nostalgic return to my go-to for breakfast burritos, and despite the inevitable price hike since my college days, the flavors were exactly as I remembered. The Legend: This isn't your average breakfast wrap; it's a heavy-hitter loaded with a unique mix of ingredients that shouldn't work as well as they do. The Build: Two scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and savory gyro meat. The Crunch: They pack it with french fries for that perfect starchy texture. The Kick & Sweet: What makes this special is the combo of honey and Tapatío, it gives you that sweet-and-spicy profile that keeps you coming back for every bite. The Experience: I was so excited to dive in that I actually started eating before I could even snap a photo for the review. It's the ultimate comfort food and the perfect way to fuel up while visiting town. The Verdict: If you're a UC Davis alum or just passing through, this burrito is a mandatory stop. It's a bit pricier now, but for a nostalgic meal that satisfies every craving at once, it is worth every penny. It was everything I remembered and more!

Prices have gone up with the new ownership significantly. So be ware. The food is tasty, I ordered the gyro wrap. It was very tasty and filling. They no longer have a operating soda fountain. If you want a soda they offer canned beverages. As for water they offer bottled water or cups and you can use the back water dispenser and ice machine. The water dispenser has a hot and cold option. The cold lever gives out chilled water, not what you want when it's so cold inside. The hot lever gives you room temperature water, which was better under the circumstances. I doubt we will return in the wintertime again. I hope in the summertime they have adequate AC so it's not too hot, but I'm not crossing my fingers. They had a portable AC/Fan unit in the entry way so there is something telling me that there AC/Heating unit isn't working. Food is good, but expensive and the temperature is a bigger deterrent.
