Pretty spendy, however it's located conveniently considering where I live. GP is quite farther away.

Cute, convenient store , expensive but we were able to purchase everything we need. We were camping at the KOA.

Apparently someone [Yelp, in it's infinite wisdom?] saw fit to delete my original [and only] review of Ray's. Hmmmm...

A nice little supermarket in a wonderful small town.. A bit pricey. Offers fresh meats, produce, a very mediocre bakery, and DVD rentals.

Several products are out of date, the most egregious I found was 18 month old past it's expiration peanut butter. I was looking for a can of coconut milk I forgot when I was in Trader Joes ($1.49) and was hoping I could find some here, and I did... for...wait for it....$7...!!! Yep, ripoff Rays is keeping it's reputation intact. Most outstanding are some of the cashiers. When I attempted to return the outdated peanut butter I was offered a refund of $4, when the original cost was $9. It was corrected, but even so. One cashier has obvious mental health issues as well. I bought three things and when she scanned each item she kept her hand on them, clutching tightly and not letting go until I paid. Seems as if she felt I was gonna grab my green onions and cilantro and run off without paying! This entire chain of stores is a true nightmare, and so far the one in Gold Hill is truly the worst. Why do people even shop here? Because they've run all other competition out of business! In future I will gladly drive the 12 miles into Central Point instead of going here.

This Ray's is the only store in town and it has all the necessities you would typically expect in a…read moregrocery store. They sell wine and beer, which is a plus. We got a couple bottles of white wine that were actually from local vineyards. The prices were reasonable. Ray's sells standard commercially grown produce and meats. There isn't anything outstanding or special about this store, but it has what you need and sometimes that is good enough.
