It is rare to meet people with such a zest and excitement for people and music! The atmosphere is cozy and the music as well as food is always wonderful! The food is made in an extremely small kitchen but with great care so be patient! All the food is Made to Order so make sure to place your order early in the show. There is never a cover-charge for music which is nice. The music is also extremely varied depending on the night so you are sure to find something you like. It is nice to hear such awesome local musical talents! You always meet wonderful and friendly people and can really appreciate the feeling of being in a small intimate cafe. They generally will pass around a money box with donations that go towards the artists since they aren't paid-nice to contribute if you can! Art exhibits on the walls always rotate as well and are for sale which adds to the unique decor. Give it a shot-you won't be disappointed!

We were on a day trip to City Island and decided to stop for a quick caffeine boost. Honestly, their lattes looked too milky and watery which is why we ended up getting a Regular Coffee. I love that they have the classic NYC cups which is so hard to see these days! The Little Fella Regular Coffee did the job caffeine-wise. I like the nautical theme and it seems like a spot the locals frequent (considering there isn't much competition here).

Now, I'll say this boldly, he makes the best rainbow cookies I've ever had (aside from my own, of course :) ). Everything I've tried here has been excellent. Perfectly balanced flavors and clearly made with care. Besides the rainbow cookies I picked up yesterday, I've attached some photos from previous visits: Bacon, Egg & Cheese - Hands down the best in the neighborhood. Not even a question in my mind. Smoked Salmon Bagel - Comes with all the fixings and features top quality lox. The bagels are from Empire, so you know they're good! Philly Cheesesteak - He roasts his own ribeye for it, and you can really taste the difference. The fries are fresh cut, the bread is made in-house, and everything consistently hits the mark. Pay him a visit and I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do!

I came from QUEENS & arrived at 8:02 am & they were SOLD OUT. No update on their page or "faqs" highlight on the page. I'm assuming the owner is who came out suggesting to preorder on hot plate (sells out in minutes there as well) yet nothing on the actual IG page telling customers this. At this point, just make it pre-order only! My frustration isn't with them being a small team etc. it's the fact they haven't adjusted business wise to keep customers updated or to increase volume. Additionally, I've waited on PLENTY of lines for viral foods in NYC (iykyk) & have never seen a place sell out AT THE EXACT TIME THEY OPEN! 50% of food businesses fail within 5 years of opening because this industry is HARD. I hope the business makes adjustments to better accommodate customers and increased volume.
