I had been overcharged repeatedly without knowing it. What set Rey's Auto Service apart is that they did not stay silent. They picked up the phone and confronted the other mechanic directly. They stood up for me when I had no technical knowledge and no leverage. As a single mom with limited understanding of car mechanics, I trusted the wrong shop and paid for it dearly. Reys Auto Service treated me with transparency, explained everything clearly, and stopped the financial bleeding before it got worse. If you want honesty, and a shop that protects customers instead of exploiting them, this is the place. They stand on business for the little guy.

First time they said it was fixed, but the warning light came on again next day. The second time, they told me the part was defective, so I left it all day again. Again the check engine light turned on after a couple days. By the third visit, the mechanic willingly admitted they knew I'd be back due to a bad part. Of course no one called me because these people don't care. Still I understood everyone makes mistakes and left the car without any attitude. Shockingly, when I got a call later, the front desk without absolutely any explanation wanted to charge me again for labor and parts. When I explained my frustration, I was told that now they wouldn't fix it EVEN IF I PAID because I expressed dissatisfaction. She said "no we're not fixing it anymore come pick up your car anytime" . I insisted but even though the mechanic said he knew I would be back right in front of her she denied that he said that. I literally had to convince the lady on the phone to take my money so they could fix the car. I couldn't afford another day and having to take it to another shop. I wish I could have. After insisting to please fix my car and take my money, the lady transferred me to maybe the owner or manager that gave me a discount , but I still had to leave the car overnight again. The fact that they charged me after having to take my car 2 extra times for their mistake upsets me but what really got me to write this is how humiliating it was to beg that lady to fix my car. No apology--just a runaround. If you only need an oil change, maybe they're fine, but for anything else, go somewhere else. No professionalism, no accountability, and I was left paying for their mistakes. Avoid them please. They tried claiming the third time I brought it was a separate problem but please look at the attached invoices and look at what was done. If you know anything about cars you know that if they knew what they were doing they would have had me in and out 1 time with 1 payment.

This week, the front lower spoiler got knocked loose when he hit a curb parallel parking. The entire thing came unclipped and out of place from driving it on the highway. I went in this morning without an appointment. They were done within an hour and for $40 (waaaaayyyyyy less than what my research said it would likely cost). I highly recommend them.
