After a quick inspection and few questions, I was told it was repairable, and would take about 2 hours.. great, because I was expecting at least a day down for service. Got a call in about two hours informing me everything was fixed and ready for pick up.! The young gentleman at the shop was very help, informative and my device is working properly. I knew that this particular device had a unique replacement glass that was pricier than the other models, however The pricing was a bit less than other quotes I had gotten.. I paid $145 expecting a professional repair, but when I got the console back, the HDMI port installation was poorly done. The work appeared sloppy, and the motherboard was damaged during the repair. Instead of receiving a properly functioning console, I was left with a bigger problem than when I brought it in. Communication about the issue was also frustrating, we were unable to make a compromise and I didn't feel like the responsibility for the damage was handled appropriately. I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience. If you're considering having an HDMI port replaced, I'd suggest looking for a repair technician with more experience in console motherboard repairs.
