Really good. Then we went with the paella. This thing was loaded. Whole lobster sitting right on top, mussels, clams, shrimp, chorizo, peas, all over that saffron rice. We visited Blue Pointe last night for my girlfriend's birthday, and he made the entire experience feel genuinely special. Jimmy was attentive, caring, funny, personable, and engaging from beginning to end. Before we even had to ask, he brought out a kids' cup with water and a lid. That small, thoughtful gesture immediately showed us how observant and considerate he is. He also gave us fantastic dinner recommendations, and every suggestion was spot-on. As always, the food was delectable, but Jimmy's exceptional service is what truly made the evening memorable. Thank you, Jimmy, for helping make her birthday such a wonderful experience. We will absolutely be back to see you again soon!

Good place to grab some yummy seafood in Fort Myers…read more My friend lives in Punta Gorda, and last year when I visited, she took me here. After that visit, we decided it would be a must for my yearly visits. The restaurant is in a shopping center/strip mall with a variety of other restaurants and shops. The parking lot is shared with the other businesses, so even if you don't find a spot right in front, there's still plenty of parking available. I've been there during lunch on a weekday as well as during the weekend. When we went on the weekend, it was busier, but we were still seated quickly. They have a great system and move with ease. There's a variety of appetizers, pre-selected seafood boils, fried seafood options, and a build-your-own boil option. For all of the boils, you also have options for seasonings as well as spice level. We always choose the Juicy Special for seasonings, which is all of the options combined, and Medium spice level. I like spice, but not so much that I can't taste my food, so it's perfect! All of the boils also come with potato and corn. My only complaint was that on my last visit there were only 2 small potatoes, but it didn't ruin the experience; I just would've liked a little more potatoes. I'll be back when I visit my friend next year!

We always get the fried green tomatoes. A simple salt-and-pepper crispy coating on firm thick sweet slices. We shared creamy flavorful New England clam chowder. We got their Neptune platter which was a very good value centered around broiled shrimp scallops and crab meat. The medium-size shrimp were a little over-cooked, but the grilled bay scallops, though small, had a lot of flavor. There were so many, that | snuck some over to the clam chowder to give it some "extra" It all tasted so fresh. We got here before the rush, and had a long pleasant meal. But it really did fill up as time went on. A busy restaurant is a good restaurant!

Everything on the wall, of course has to do with fish and fishing. The staff was helpful and nice. The menu was pretty large, but it seemed like every time somebody asked for something special that they were out of it, which is understandable. OK onto the food. My wife had fried shrimp and fried clams and it looked good but it didn't taste very good. She really didn't like it. I had a burger, and my only request was that it not be pink in the middle and when I started eating it, it was pink in the middle. This might be a good place to buy some raw seafood, but according to my wife and I, it's not a very good place to get cooked food.

It was about 8 pm on a Wednesday evening and there was no wait for a table. I had a Caesar salad to start which was delicious. Mains were scallops, scallop risotto and the sea bass.
