Everyone who works here was so delightful. I had so many questions and they were not bothered to help me by any means. They accept extended warranty companies as well. Unfortunately the amount of information they gathered from the diagnostics wasn't enough for my warranty company to cover the repair of the issue in my car. I wouldn't let these people jumpstart my vehicle on a -10 morning stranded on the side of the road Worst experience with a car mechanic I've ever had. I got this charger off the lot with no scratches and I only had a sensor problem.i drop it first thing in the morning and they just had my car sitting there I think. They could possibly drove it off the parking it lot. After 8 or more hours I had to come inside and check where's my car because they did not give me any updates on it. Once we firgured everything out I got my car and drove straight home. Once I notice white stuff with that black scratch like something big and sharp had hit it I called and bard told me to come in the next day to see it. I showed him pictures prior to that days and he also had picture of the car before they touch it. Brad and I had agreed that it could possibly be from there side and that he would respond but he just needed fews days to figure everything out. Once I called because he didn't give no updates or what so ever he change what he said. He wouldn't admit what he told me that day and was being so rude over the car. Reviews are from years ago so they probably change staff but had a really bad experience. Staff from front are polite but the mechanics needs to be CHECKED!! DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR CAR HERE!!. Will not take another vehicle here if it was the last place in the world to get an alignment. Took my truck in 3 different times to get it aligned and realigned after coming out of alignment within a week of each visit. The last time they made up some reason why it came out when I told them I was having popping noises up front now to they said something was just loose. They told me it shouldn't come out of alignment again. Well sure enough a week later it's all jacked up again and still have popping noises. They are supposed to specialize in alignments to lol what a joke. read more

I have been going to this shop for many years but, after a bad experience, I will not be returning. Here's what happened: I went in for an oil change/tire rotation on Monday, December 5 and was told that my brakes and rotors needed replacement and a brake flush was suggested. I obtained a written copy of the quote, which was around $1300. I contacted another shop, Ralph's Muffler in Avon, who estimated the work to be about $800 (including brake flush, rotors, and pads). I called the service technician at Raymond's and asked for a better price since I've been a customer for several years. He knocked off about $200 and said the other shop probably quoted that price as they likely don't use the "better" grade of parts that they do. I was told that Raymond's also has a $127 hourly labor rate. I asked what the brake pad depth was and he said they were all at 2 mm. I decided to give Ralph's a try as I was told they were fair and honest and would not do any work that did not need to be done. As it turns out, I did NOT need new rotors or a brake flush and the back brake pads had more than half of their life left (greater than 6 mm). I only spent $128 yesterday, December 8, and they were also able to determine the cause of a rattling noise that Raymond's could not diagnose. Plus, they told me that the rattle was likely covered by my powertrain warranty and to contact the dealer to fix it. In summary, Raymond's tried to sell me work that did not need to be done (rotors, back brake pads, brake flush) and LIED about the remaining life of the back brake pads. I don't know if this is something they do to every customer because they have a sales commission or if it's just because I am a woman and they think I'm an idiot (yeah, I'm going there because I've had this happen to me before), but it's extremely unprofessional for any shop to LIE to ANY customer about the work that needs to be done. Since I can no longer trust them, I am now questioning whether they actually did my oil change, tire rotation, and filter replacements on Monday. If I were you, especially if you are a woman, I would steer clear of this shop and go to Ralph's Muffler or another shop that is honest and fair to their customers. read more

Went to Raymond's for a Flowmaster Scavenger X pipe with connecting pipes install and again they surpassed my expectation. I got booked right away for my appointment on a date and time that was convenient to my schedule. I got emails confirming my appointment and my car was taken back promptly at the scheduled time. The work was completed in a timely manner and my car returned to me as it was placed in the service centers hands. I neglected to mention that when the service technician came to get my car he had plastic for the seats and paper floor mat. My car was sounding the way that I expected with the parts provided and I couldn't be happier. As I always say, it's great going to Raymond's for service you establish a relationship with Bruce and his wife Kathy, Rose the desk attendee and Eric Pitts who oversees the mechanics of the operation. Everyone is very knowledgeable in their particular field, position or job and everyone is very pleasant to be around! The new US40 location is neat and clean, wait area spotless, rest rooms clean and soft drinks, water and coffee for the convenience. I can't think of a reason to go elsewhere. I brought my truck here to get some breaking issues resolved. I won't carry on or make this a long review so I'll just say I paid these folks almost $400 for parts that were already new on the truck that there was nothing wrong with that they wanted to replace anyway. I believe it was just to make some money. Didn't fix the issue at all like I knew it wouldn't. Nobody has $400 to just basically give someone, especially in these horrible times. I feel good using Raymond diesel service. I'm a newly owner of a 3500 Silverado diesel and not sure on the PM maintenance on a diesel. I purchased their car care club membership which includes 4 "free" oil changes which includes 5 quarts of oil up to 28.95 value. I specifically asked for regular oil. Not synthetic when I dropped the vehicle off. They then called me to let me know that synthetic is "required" for my engine. They confuse "recommended" with required. I again told them I wanted regular oil not synthetic. They then called me about an hour later to let me know my vehicle was complete and that I owed an additional $37+ to cover the synthetic upcharge. I told them I didn't want synthetic and the told me they had to put it in. I told them they shouldn't have drained it knowing that I only wanted regular oil. They didn't end up charging me for the oil, but they couldn't accept the fact that they were doing anything at all wrong. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend anyone else go there either. They will just do unauthorized work on your vehicle and then expect to be paid for it. They did tell me to "Have a better day sir!" As I walked out. Which is exactly the smart remark that makes me go the extra mile to let others know that they are an unscrupulous business in my opinion! read more

I've taken our cars here multiple times and have no reason to go elsewhere. The work is done right (except in only 1 case when the problem was quickly taken care of at no additional cost to me). The prices are fair. And the staff is courteous and trustworthy. I guess my only criticism is that it's not open on Saturdays, but that's a minor thing. read more

Do not go to this business. I came to them with the simple request of talking about an issue that I had with my vehicle. They diagnosed the problem without me face to face. No one let me show them what I was talking about. They said I had to pay $300 to fix the issue at hand (Alignment and new outer tie rod). I asked if it would fix the problem I came in with. It was stated that this is what I needed done. When I came to pick up the car, the issue was still visible. The problem I cam in with was not fixed, but the issue that they wanted to take care of was. My tire is still rubbing my fender. They will take your money and not fix what you want them to. read more
