Needed a new window crank for my mom's place--the old plastic one that must have come with the place 40 years ago. Raydon was recommended and I sought it out. Glad I did! They are like a good old hardware store for everything windows. I brought the broken crank in and the man disappeared behind the wall and came back out with a couple of options. So so bad. I am a contractor therefor have quite a bit of grace and flexibility but this outfit is just so bad. They currently still have my windows and refuse to give me a date of installation. I have asked them for a date going on 8 different occasions but they just refuse to give me one. The worst part about it is the customer service. The lady that answers the phone is just rude and lacks customer service skills by any measure. Get out of the customer service business if you do not want to help folks. read more

Paid Raydon for window 04/22/22 Wrong window ordered by Ray when they came to install 08/23/22 Raydon Office put in new order for correct window 08/29/22 Delivery was supposed to be week of Jan 1st, I continually called and was told, we don't have it, it's in production, I'll call the company and find out and get back to you and no one ever called. Last time I called 03/02/23 I was told I would not be refunded even though I was told the office was not getting any response or update from whoever they ordered it from and since it's in production they won't do anything. I asked to speak with Ray and was told he was out. I asked for them to have him call me back. Did not occur. I called Ray 03/02/22 and texted him 03/03/23 requesting refund on mobile no response. He called me back and said it's all my fault, no refund will be provided and go ahead and take him to small claims court. Not a reputable company you'd want to work with. read more

Ray Manning replaced a kitchen window, a patio door and put special screening on the lower half of the lanai doors to keep mud from getting in the track of the sliding glass doors about six years ago when I bought a condo at Vizcaya and was redoing it. His work has held up through the years and today I just looked his number up to give my realtor for another condo I own which needs a door replaced before I can sell it. I have been trying to get Raydon to come out and fix the windows they installed in my lanai for over a month and they refuse to do so. I also paid them to redo my screens and they did a poor job on them. My windows leak and I cant get them to come out. The screens they didnt even finishing the splines on them. I stopped by to see Ray and I had to take a seat. There were 7 customers that followed into the small store front. 3 were Spanish speaking and frustrated because the window they needed to have repaired was way too big to bring to show Ray where they'd taken the busted part from. Yet Ray figured out what they needed and sent them happily on their way. They told me they drove an hour to see him. One man said he was specifically told to go and see Ray because he has been in business more than 50 years and if there was a part the man needed Ray would and did in fact have it. He said upon leaving "Home Depot said Ray is the go to Guy"! I sat their amazed as Ray handled the on rush of customers, one by one with ease. His staff was top notch and cool in finding and taking care of every customer's needs as they all felt special. There was a lot of "Sir, and Please & Thank You". Ray gave us an estimate to replace 30+ year old windows in our garage after a break-in. Within days the new windows were in, the work was quality, and the final price was the same as the estimate. It's years later and the windows have never had a problem. Just had an old awning window mechanism fail. Ray turned down the house call service for $100, asked me to come to the shop where they matched the part, other people working in the shop sold it for $18, and Ray showed me how to replace it easily. All I can say is that Mr. Ray Manning is an extremely honest, genuine and helpful person, as was the man with him, Chris. After spending much time here, they told me they could not take the job because of multiple reasons...all good. They gave me many suggestions on how to proceed.
