We had high hopes for Ray from we'd heard, so we happily contacted him for a restroom remodeling project. Our initial impressions were favorable - he was punctual, professional, and demonstrated impressive knowledge during our first meeting. We discussed our plans and agreed that he would return after our new mirrors and dispensers arrived, with the added agreement that he would purchase some small parts for installation, to be reimbursed. A week later, when all the parts had arrived, we eagerly texted Ray on Thursday, September 28th, to schedule the work for Monday, October 2nd, at 9 a.m. We also reminded him about the small parts purchase and reimbursement. On Monday, October 2nd 7:30 am, we texted him to remind him again. However, at 9 am, there was no sign of Ray. We patiently assumed he might be acquiring the necessary parts and would arrive shortly, but as the morning turned into afternoon with no communication from him, our patience wore thin. We reached out through text and voicemail but received no response throughout the day. On Tuesday, still trying to be understanding, we sent a heartfelt text message to inquire about the situation and to discuss the possibility of rescheduling the service. Our efforts were met with silence. By Wednesday today, we attempted one last communication, only to discover that our number had been blacklisted. We want to emphasize that we are exceptionally reasonable customers. During our first meeting, considering the sweltering heat and lunchtime, we treated Ray respectfully and hospitably, offering drink and food. Throughout the entire process, we conscientiously limited our communication to no more than two texts or calls per day. We acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but our issue lies with the blatant promise to deliver service followed by a complete no-show, which resulted in the waste of our entire morning and a lack of proactive communication or any admission of responsibility. Ray's decision to disconnect from the entire process, even going so far as to blacklist our number, left us feeling foolish and disregarded. While Ray may possess skill in his trade, his lack of care for customers and unreliability overshadows any professional competence. This review is a testament to our extreme disappointment, especially considering the courtesy and respect we extended to him. We hope that Ray takes the initiative to learn from this mistake rather than simply disappear, as addressing similar issues in a constructive manner would undoubtedly improve his standing in the eyes of future customers. read more

I feel we are so lucky to find Ray on Yelp. He responded right away after I posted my request. The communication was super throughout the project. Our tenants have been complaining about leaking faucets and potential leaking and noisy problem with the toilet. Ray was able to replace them all in one day, and helped us fix the bigger issue we weren't even aware before. So the end of the story is, two sets of faucets and one toilet were replaced. He ran to Home Depot several times to find the right parts for us. Though I didn't meet him in person, I can tell he is very responsible and taking his business seriously. We had a non urgent plumbing situation but he replied swiftly and came the next day. While he could have told us to replace our garbage disposer and charged us more, he was honest and told us we really didn't have to replace it because it appeared fairly new, which was true. He also replaced a shower head for us and snaked our bathtub as a favor. wow....my lucky day that i found a wonderful handyman, Ray! i called him for a quote to put a new door and clean up area around the door. i realized that I needed two holes in doors extended to fit newer doorknobs and I needed some wood trimmed to fit in a space on water heater cover outside. he first fixed the 3 times I needed done...then went to the door measured it...and helped me figure out what I do with that area door was in. this guy gave a great first impression, very nice and professional. i watched him as he worked and he knew what he was doing...and for sure will use him again. he is very competitive in his pricing....was a great day for me! a goooooood handyman, hard to find! read more

Needed a leaky faucet replaced, but have been putting it off since were going to be doing an entire repipe on this property soon. However, it's been a pain to have to keep dumping the water bucket and sometimes forgetting. So we put our search out to the Yelp world and came across this great man. He was the second one to respond. The first guy came out, quoted $75 an hour and said it could take up to 2 hours for the job. The faucet had been leaking so long, the screws had calcified and the faucet needed to be sawed off. Weve actually had other plumbers who"d been here working on other tasks take a look and they turned it down. This man got here (fully masked), said he could do it for a very reasonable flat fee and would also include the faucet. He went to Home Depot, got the faucet, came back, used an electric saw and replaced it. He even left us the receipt for the faucet that was almost half the cost of what he charged for the entire job. When he came back with the faucet, it only took him 45 minutes to replace the faucet (including the saw job). Wish we found him years ago, as it wouldve saved us such headaches. Weve dealt with warranty companies for years, and they haven't been worth the money you think you maybe saving. In the long run you spend alot more money and time. This guy is a one man show, hes obviously very experienced, extremely courteous, and very proficient. If you want a job done well, someone thats honest, reliable, and fair. Ray is the best! He responded to my request right away, answered all my questions, and arrived at our agreed upon time (with 30 min notice). He wore a mask the entire time in my house. We had a leaky bathtub faucet that 3 previous handymen were not able to fix and Ray fixed it!
