Max is very communicative, detailed and punctual! I appreciated that the price he quoted me, was what he charged me. He arrived, assessed the project and got to work. I will hire him again for other projects in the future and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy handyman. read more

Max did a fantastic job repairing and reinforcing our closet shelf and clothing rod after the original installation failed. He clearly explained that the original setup was particle board, wasn't properly reinforced, and had been secured largely with nails, which is what caused it to collapse. He replaced it with sturdy wood, properly secured everything with screws and anchors, and made sure the new setup was incredibly strong. He was also clean, thoughtful, and careful not to make a mess, hauled away all the debris, and painted everything so you'd never know there had been a repair. Very professional, communicative, and easy to work with. I'd absolutely hire him again. read more

We have had a great experience working with HandyMax across multiple locations! He has helped us with a variety of projects, including fixing a wooden door that wasn't closing properly, securely anchoring our pedicure basins to the floor, and repairing a massage table by reattaching the support beams using power tools. He is quick to respond, reliable, professional, and very fairly priced. We really appreciate his attention to detail and willingness to help with different types of repairs. We would definitely recommend him and will absolutely be booking him again for future projects! read more

Handy Max - Beautiful bathroom projects by Max. - Handyman Near Me

After a long year dealing with roof leaks and a room in need of renovation, hiring Max was the best decision we could have made. He's kind, hardworking, detail-oriented, and has a great eye for design. He worked with the materials we already had and didn't try to add unnecessary work. It was the best possible ending to a stressful situation. The room looks even better than before. Thank you, Max! read more

I reached out to Max for a cabinet renovation project. I have old built ins that I want to demo and clean the space, and prep to install IKEA cabinets. I reached out to Max on Saturday, with pictures and dimensions of my project, and Max was courteous, prompt and clear in his estimate. His rates were slightly on the higher end comapred to some other handymen I have reached out to, but he was meticulous in his quote, including often overlooked aspects such as ensuring cleanup and debris haulway, qualities which speak to his attention to detail. I look forward to working with Max, and hope his worksmanship reflects his rates, as I dont mind paying a bit more for a job well done. read more

Handy Max - New frame TV installed by Max. - Handyman Near Me

Max is the best! We've done a lot of work on our house and he's by far been the most professional, most prepared, and kind! What makes Max worth the hire is he found ways around potential issues we didn't account for - like having extra screws that fit our unique TV bracket that we didn't have - and offering up better solutions to problems we had that we didn't think of. He's punctual, fair, and just goes above and beyond. We will definitely be hiring Max the next time we need work done. read more

WOW! Whatever job you need, he can do it! I messaged Handy Max to install PVC shiplap in my small restroom. He was so patient and did the job in a 1.5 days. He did such a great & clean job, that I asked if he could install the sink as well. He took care of looking for the correct pipe connections & even came back another day when I asked him why my drain was acting slow. He came back & changed it with a different connection and the problem was solved. I also hired him to install a bug protection plate for the security door. He made the door entry look seamless! There used to be a huge 5 inch gap between the inside/outside door & he was able to close it seamlessly. I will never hesitate to hire him again for my DIY needs! So professional & gets back to you quick! Very honest man as well & won't try to overcharge you for the job. 10/10! read more

We have a new baby and don't have the bandwidth to baby proof or do any work on the home. We chose Max based on his high Yelp reviews and he was everything everyone said he is! We're so glad we found him. He installed 2 shelves, 1 baby gate, 1 large hanging mirror, and 1 even larger hanging framed art, and also anchored our large TV and 5 large cabinets to the walls...all within 3 hours. He's careful, thorough, efficient, honest, knowledgeable, and professional. And his rate is very reasonable! Everything you're looking for in someone to work on your home. My husband and in-laws have spent 6+ hours of pure frustration trying to get these extremely heavy 107" blackout curtains installed in our apartment. We ended up ripping a hole in the wall! Finally, after seeing Max's reviews, I decided to give him a call and I'm so glad I did. He arrived on time, quickly patched the wall and installed the curtain support brackets securely into the studs. He communicated very clearly before and during the job. Start to finish, Max completed the job in just 2 hours. He even earned the trust of my little dog, who barked at him for a moment, then fell asleep next to him while he worked. Do yourself a favor and give him a call! read more
