Whoever they had knock out the pins wasn't careful with the punch and hammer AT ALL, leaving big chips all around the pins. I went back to talk to them about it and the owner just keps saying "those are old, I see rust, that's old" but the car is only a year old and at only 15K miles they're the only ones to ever touch the brakes. Don't let the great price reel you in, they aren't careful and won't stand behind the work if they mess up your car.

That is until they finished their job on my car and suddenly it shot up to $293 without taxes included. As I pulled into the parking area, I was happy to see that there were a collection of foreign cars there including an Audi, Volvo, a Maserati, and a BMW. I spoke to David who nodded saying "that's usually an air leak. We'll find it". When he later called me, I braced myself for some bad news. He said, "your problem was a split O-ring under the oil fill cap". The charge? Laughing, he said "20 cents for the O-ring". I thought he was joking, but when I went to pick up the car, he refused to take any money! "We didn't fix anything" he shrugged. But they had spent time doing a smoke test (for leaks) and also drove the car around for like 20 minutes to make sure the CEL stayed off. This is an honest business that clearly puts a value on results. I drove 10 miles to this place (no Volvo mechanics near where I live), and I'll definitely be back. Had I gone to the dealer, I would have been hosed for that split O-ring.

EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS IN EVERY WAY!…read more After an excellent, honest, fair and high quality auto repair experience with MPAB last year, they earned my full trust and loyalty for future business. Well, today I picked up my not-so-recent Lexus, which needed a new front "under bumper" shield that was dragging, and removal of white scrapes on three corners of the car. Dave advised there was no point in replacing the bumper shield, which would have cost $1200 plus. Instead he wired it back up securely, advising it would most likely do the job..."no point spending that kind of money on this". I thanked him, asked for the bill for that labor and the touch-up painting...he waved it off and said "no charge for it...you can give a tip Bobby (who did the painting)", which of course I gladly did.
