We had a blow out and stop by the Rent a Tire store on Buckner 1 word Ghetto they take no pride in service,they look at you like your crazy and don't even speak the girl at the counter was in her own world not sure what world that was but it was out there when she did acknowledge us I wish she hadn't I take pride in service and for this company as big as it is they should hire better people.Oh but it gets better the manager walks in looks my husband dead in his face at this time we had no idea he was the manager till the girl at the counter said B.J you have a call on hold and he replies to her you no I'm in the shop today I didn't understand but after walking around still not speaking to us he picked up the phone and said B.J speaking how can I help at this point Im assuming the caller asked for the manager and he said I am the manager. I told my husband if you don't get me the HELL out this store I've never seen this type of service in my life. Well I guess they all can't be Garland Rd were my day ended with a smile I didn't tell staff on Garland rd what happen because they had a full house but I did tell Andrea I will never go to another store and she laughed and took my keys when she had cars waiting in line.My husband and I had the biggest smiles . I wasn't going to post this review about the Buckner location but every time we go to Garland rd the manager Andrea always say Hey Ms Lady don't forget to yelp me good,bad,happy or sad I need all my reviews it pushes me and my team. And this is indeed a wonderful group of people Andrea and Al work so hard to keep smiles on there customers face even when the wait is long that's why we keep going back and referring people to Garland rd. Shopping around for a new set of wheels for my car and stumbled across Rent A Tire on Buckner. Not sure if it's something I really wanted to do around Christmas but decided to check out prices for a later time. As soon as I entered the store I was greeted by not one but two friendly faces. I advised them I wasn't looking to purchase today but was wondering about cost and requirements to get started. The manager ( I believe his name is Mike) took time to show show me different wheel options as well as payment options that would best fit the need of my budget. I usually don't do this but I have learned that customer service is very important. I take pride in anything I own and even if it is not the best of the best I can admire employees who show interest as well. I drive a 01 Chevy suburban, its not the best but it is mine. The guys on Buckner took care of me. I did not mind the wait because it was raining pretty hard ,but the environment was pleasant and they answered any question I had. The biggest plus was they did not take all my income tax for the wheels I wanted. When a particular item was not in stock. the manager would not let me leave until he found them from another store. I went in to rent a tire today and left with rims and tires within one hour. These people are professional and fast. From the people in front to the guys in the shop. They picked out the perfect 24s for my Grand Marquis and also lifted my vehicle so the tires wouldnt scrape for free. Also in the waiting area, they had cartoons for my daughter to watch. It was alot easier than i thought and they made us feel welcomed from beginning to end. I recommed all my friends and family to check out the location on buckner. I have bought 3 sets of wheels now through the Buckner store. All the people that work there are very friendly and have excellent knowledge on tires and wheels. In a society now where there is no customer service this place thrives on customer service. I am very happy with their suggestions on tires and wheels and what would or would not fit my truck. Their customer service is the best I have encountered for a very long time. They give you a free front end alignment for trucks with oversize tires and make sure that you are happy with your new wheels and tires. I give the Buckner location a big 10 stars. read more

I was a little hesitant before stopping by because I'm not a big fan of rent to own. But here at rent a tire, they made sure I got something to fit my budget on a biweekly basis. I didn't want anything big, just 18s for my Altima. I really didn't like the choices they had in stock but they gladly went to their warehouse to pick me up some more within the hour. The staff at the Buckner location are very cooperative. I only had $60 and went into their store for new wheels and tires. They told me i was already pre approved and as long as i filled out my application, i could leave with wheels n tires. BJ already had wheels for me to show before i arrived. and Vonesha explained the program to the T before i arrived. Eric already knew who i was when i arrived. i have no complaints at all.
