When the tech was changing out the tires on the blowout side, he found damage to a valve related to the leveling system. He requested that we return to the shop to further evaluate the problem. He worked on our RV for hours, but resolved the situation so that we could safely continue on our trip. He was determined to correct the problem properly, and we appreciated his tenacity in following through until it was fixed. The company did not charge us any extra for the long hours they worked on this job, which surprised us. We were very pleased. Only wish this shop was closer to our home so we could use them whenever we needed service.

We were able to immediately pull over to the far right of a very wide shoulder. Due to a fiasco in arranging for a tow truck to show up (not the towing company's fault - a problem with our insurance), I eventually changed the tire myself and drove to Mavis Tire Supply, LLC in Brunswick, GA arriving at 5:50 pm, only 10 minutes before closing time. After explaining our predicament to the lady at the counter, it seemed she was reluctant to write up a new order so late in the day. She asked Jayson, the manager on duty, what she should do. To my relief, he told her to "Write 'em up". So 10 minutes before closing and after a full day of work on a very hot August day, Mavis Tire of 600 Mall Boulevard, Brunswick, GA took care of us and got us back on the road in very little time. They even had the same tire Brand and size in stock and the price they charged was fair (I had just replaced all four tires on this vehicle about three months ago). A special thank you to Jayson for approving this job so late in the work day and to Ron, the man who did the actual tire mount and balancing. We were still in the parking lot well after closing time putting our spare back in place and repacking the car when Jayson and Ron on their way home noticed we were still there and asked if everything was okay. I am happy to say that the nice folks at Gerber Collison in Brunswick recommended Bob and his staff at Barnes Auto, in Brunswick. Years ago I had an older car towed to Bob. It needed a new fuel pump. I wasn't going to drop the gas tank on a gravel driveway. Bob called me up prior to replacing the pump. He informed me that the PCM (power control module, the main computer) was bad. And since that part wasn't available he suggested scraping the car. A Saturn station wagon with approximately 295,000 miles had served me well. Lots of other places would have been happy to charge me hundreds of dollars to replace the fuel pump and then call me with the bad news. I recommend Bob and his staff at Barnes Auto to anyone looking for an honest shop where INTEGRITY is more important than a making a quick dollar. Thank you very much Bob, Tammy and the techs in back.
