I needed to have the front end aligned, as I had spoke to Kendall Barnes, to find out if his shop could do this. Kendall told me, they could align anything. So I drove there, and being I didn't have an appointment, had to wait a short time, then they got me inside and on their alignment machine. Joe was the alignment 'tech', as he did a superb job, making sure the steering wheel was lined up correctly with wheels, taking his time to make sure it was done correctly. I would have waited all day, but Barnes had me in and out in less than a couple of hours. My truck now drives like a dream. I would highly recommend Barnes Tire on Community Road in Brunswick GA. Now need a new set of Nitto Dura Grappler 10 ply tires, as Barnes Tire can order these as well.

The next morning, I got a call from them saying they didn't have the tires I had selected on line at my particular location. So I went into the shop itself and spoke with the guys there. While the tire they wanted to substitute was only $12 more, the entire thing was going to cost me almost $800. I asked what happened to the $488 price I was quoted on line and they started in with the song and dance. Needless to say we left and ended up at Duckworth. As soon as we walked in and asked about tires for my car, William immediately gave me a quote, installed, balanced and all for under $500. When my husband said our other car needed tires as well, William threw in alignments for both cars (value of about $120) free. So we ended up getting new tires for both cars for under $1,000... no fuss, no upcharging, no big sales push to get us into buying other maintenance plans. The best part was that while they were working on my car, I asked them about my tail light - which was out - and the mud-flap that was loose and told them to call me with the cost to replace the bulb and repair the mid-flap. The mudflap they couldn't repair, but they replaced the bulb for free! Now that's service.

They scheduled him to pick it up the next afternoon. Texted him the day of pick up to make sure he had all paperwork and tag to transfer. Drove an hour to pick up the vehicle and was told it was sold the previous evening. They knew the vehicle was gone when they texted the morning of pick up. Then they tried to sell him on another vehicle with more miles, less features and stained interior for the same price. No apologies, no nothing. It's this type of sales tactic that give car salesmen a bad name. Definitely bait and switch!

I am happy to say that the nice folks at Gerber Collison in Brunswick recommended Bob and his staff at Barnes Auto, in Brunswick. Years ago I had an older car towed to Bob. It needed a new fuel pump. I wasn't going to drop the gas tank on a gravel driveway. Bob called me up prior to replacing the pump. He informed me that the PCM (power control module, the main computer) was bad. And since that part wasn't available he suggested scraping the car. A Saturn station wagon with approximately 295,000 miles had served me well. Lots of other places would have been happy to charge me hundreds of dollars to replace the fuel pump and then call me with the bad news. I recommend Bob and his staff at Barnes Auto to anyone looking for an honest shop where INTEGRITY is more important than a making a quick dollar. Thank you very much Bob, Tammy and the techs in back.
