I just finished a lymphatic drainage massage with Angella and as soon as I got home, I had to write…read morea review. I feel bad because I started out with one of those (silent service please) cards on the stool ((sorry Angella)) but as the service got started, she gave me tidbits of information on what she was doing and why. She also gave me a few pointers on what i can do at home or on my own time and with that, we just started talking and she walked me through alot of the process which i loved. She was incredibly knowledgeable, strategic, and every movement had a purpose. She definitely kicked my butt (which for 8 days out or surgery, it was to be expected) but it wasn't painful at all. She was able to get all the fluids moving in my body and it was very relieving. When the service was done and I stood up to change back into my clothes, I could notice a huge difference with a reduction of swelling. Even as I'm sitting at home, I expected to feel kind of crappy after because of all the toxins being pushed out but I feel great. I can not say enough good things about Angella. I highly highly recommend for a lymph massage if you're looking for someone! I'll definitely be back!

Do NOT come to this establishment. My experience was extremely disappointing, and the way this…read moresituation was handled by the front reception was unprofessional and lacked basic communication. I arrived approximately 5 minutes late for my appointment (11:20 a.m. for an 11:15 a.m. appointment) and had already communicated beforehand that I would be arriving at 11:18 a.m. I understand that late arrivals can affect appointment times, but what was never communicated was that this would result in losing treatment time or that choosing to reschedule to receive the full service would result in an $40 cancellation fee. Instead of clearly explaining the policy and giving me all the information upfront, I was told after the fact that the fee would be applied. I was charged $40 unfairly for a gift appointment from my friend, who is a weekly client at this establishment. After this experience, I have already encouraged her to take her business elsewhere. The massage therapist also did not provide a welcoming experience upon arrival. Rather than greeting me professionally and warmly, the interaction immediately felt as though I was an inconvenience and that the shortened appointment was being emphasized instead of trying to provide a positive client experience. Policies are one thing, but communication and customer service matter. Unfortunately, this establishment failed in both areas.

Friendly staff!! Fresh looking and very clean place (including private rooms, stations, bathroom, shower, etc.). I had the 60 minutes full body massage, including heated stones. I honestly do not even know where to start. I was a regular customer at Ji Long Xing Massage for…read moreover three years and would rave about this place anytime someone asked me where to get a good massage in Roseville. I always recommended them, especially because of the wonderful experiences I had with Lucy and later Leena. Lucy left the establishment a few years ago, and today I unfortunately found out that Leena recently left as well. I called this afternoon to schedule a 6:00 p.m. appointment with Leena and was informed that she was no longer working there. I specifically asked the woman on the phone if anyone working today could provide medium-to-gentle pressure. She assured me that they had someone available whose massage style was similar to Leena's. Based on that recommendation, I agreed to the appointment and arrived on time. My massage therapist was Jessica, and unfortunately, her technique was anything but gentle. At the beginning of the appointment, I explained that I had been doing a lot of walking recently and asked if she could please focus more attention on my feet. My feet were left until the very end of the massage, and she spent approximately two minutes on each foot. More concerning was the amount of pressure being used. I repeatedly asked Jessica to use softer, gentler pressure because I bruise easily. Lucy and Leena had always understood and respected this. Instead, Jessica responded that "harder is better pressure" and continued using hard pressure despite my requests. I am extremely disappointed that the establishment recommended Jessica after I specifically asked for someone who could provide medium-to-gentle pressure. I would have much rather been told that no one available that evening could accommodate my preference. Instead, I left feeling as though getting me in for an appointment was more important than listening to what I was actually requesting as a longtime customer. If Samantha had been there, I would have felt comfortable speaking with her directly about my experience. Unfortunately, after being a loyal customer for more than three years, this experience has made me decide to look for another massage establishment. I also chose not to leave a tip because I was unhappy with the service. As I was getting ready to walk out the door, the woman at the register asked me, "You do not want to give her a little something tip?" I responded no. After an already disappointing experience, being questioned about not leaving a tip made the situation even more uncomfortable. It is genuinely disappointing to write this review because this was once a place I recommended so highly and visited regularly. I wish my concerns and requests had been listened to and respected.

It overall was a wonderful experience. The second experience was me and by favorite friend coming in for facials and relaxation time. We started in the lounge and after completing the questionaire were put into robes and slippers and had time in the salt room. This room was just lovely! There was aromatherapy, a tarot card pull and reading, singing/sound bowl and then we were left to simply relax and meditate together. It was hands down the best pre-service experiences we've had in any spa, and we have been to A LOT of spas. Then we both had our facials. My esti was calm, assuring, and educated. Her touch was amazing and the recommended service items were delivered perfectly. After the service apple cinnamon infused water and dark chocolate dipped pineapples were provided and we were advised we could go back into the loung and relax for as long as we wanted before leaving. My friends facial was also superb. The front desk staff was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. The boutique itself had nice selections for purchase. Will definately be back!

She was there for all of my prenatal and postpartum massages, except during my last pregnancy (when I found out she moved all of a sudden), and she truly helped my body heal every time I kneaded her. Most of the time during my massages, she would converse with me, which sometimes I didn't mind at all. She always had the funniest stories! The only cons I recall are when she was booked during the holidays, sometimes the music would shut off and I could hear loud hallway conversations from the business neighbors, 1-2x she answered her phone, and the 2-3x her next client would open her door during my session or after while I was still getting dressed... A few awkward moments but her massages were too worth it to keep returning. I'm so grateful I found her and I will definitely miss having her as my go to massage therapist.
