As someone with some scientific expertise in what is natural and what is good, I find this is overly simplistic and misleading. Nonetheless, if you drop in, I suspect you'll find that it holds true for everything they have here. I have tried a few local smoothie places, and while this isn't the cheapest one, it seems clearly the best. Of course, anyone can throw some stuff in a blender; I suspect juice bars persist largely because it's difficult for most of us to manage the logistics of keeping fresh fruit at home. But here, they're not just doing the grunt work for you, they're bringing some serious skill to the table. Could I use dragonfruit and coconut and get something that looks and tastes like bubblegum? I'm guessing not. Could I duplicate their wondrous "whipped fruit", a sort of fresh coconut ice cream made right in front of me? Not a chance. Their creations are both delicious and innovative, and I've not found an average one yet (and I've tried quite a few). The proprietor says he's from Brazil, which would explain why he is so good with topical fruits. It's a neighborhood vibe kind of place, and there's a decent chance of free samples. If something is on special, I suggest trying it. Most of what they use is fresh fruit and nut milks and coconut water and they are mostly vegan (save for a few clearly labeled pastries), making this establishment friendly to most customers. Besides their smoothies and bowls, a mouthwatering assortment of salads and baked desserts beckons. I still haven't tried any of those for fear of getting addicted, and if it instead turns out that they're terribly underwhelming in some way, I suppose I'll go back and revise this place's rating down again. Doesn't seem likely.

Beautifully welcoming, open and light airy furnishings, make for comfortable dining both inside and out. The menu is on point with good mix of classic and modern breakfast dishes at reasonable prices. Great variety of drinks too with fresh juices, smoothies and tasty coffees. I had the potato and parmesan cakes with pumpkin hummus, avocado aioli and bacon; my friend opting for the smashed avo and feta on pumpkin bread. Not a single crumb was left on either plate. I'll definitely be back, a great local cafe that is super cute and has a real fresh feel.

Epitome of #foodporn! I find the prices extremely reasonable, in line with other Brisbane cafes but the food was so so delish. I had eggs Benedict while my mum had pancakes, both were divine. I also had one of their house sodas, which had passion fruit, lime and mint and it was a decent size too, not a teeny tiny glass that you get in some places. It's opposite a large park and has a great relaxed open at feel to it, a definite must return.

Indeed, there are several of these, more coming, and they're not in snazzy beach locations, but spread around Brisbane's banal suburbs. It's almost as if going out for an acai bowl is a normal thing to do. Like most of these sorts of places, it is not cheap, but the bowl I got was quite delicious: a hazulnut "nutella"-ish creation with a respectable variety of fruit and granola. It works because it's the sort of thing I would struggle to do by myself; it's awfully difficult to keep around fresh fruit. The menu is mostly acai bowls and smoothies, but other dessert items and a few savory dishes are there as well, all completely animal-free. It was good enough that I would want to return, though I would more likely sample another location.
