Quench. Gelati. Wraps. Juice. Salads.
Sold. On a humid 33 degree Brisbane day, you only need to see the bright orange Quench logo, the yellow and green laminates on the wall, the fresh fruit lining the window and you start salivating for a refreshing drink.
Quench have frozen blends, smoothies and mixed fruit juice as well as some decent gelati. I've sampled a wide range of their products and have been pretty happy each time. The chocolate gelato is decent though it's their fruity gelati which stand out.
Of course, on the 33 degree day I visited Quench, it was too hot for anything but a frozen blend. My husband and I shared a Mint berry tingle (apples, mint, lemon, ice, blueberries, peaches) and a Yuluvit (pineapple, strawberry, apple, pineapple, sorbet).
Both were good although my personal vote goes to the Yuluvit which was much sweeter than the tangy Mint berry tingle.
With their range of smoothies, wraps, gelati and salads, Quench is usually pretty popular all summer long. There was a line up when we arrived but we happily strolled around for ten minutes until the line cleared. It's definitely worth the wait. read more
