I'd like to start off by saying that I am in no way qualified to give an evaluation of a doctor…read more I'm just going to share my experience. I had an accident. My face was injured. Everything I have I owe to this face. I went to an urgent care center where they patched up the visible damage and took x-rays. Then they called and asked me to get a CT scan. When the CT scan results came back, they called me very concerned and insisted that I see an ENT immediately. They even made the appointment. When I arrived, the doctor reviewed the CT scan. I had it on a CD. He explained that he could see why they were concerned but assured me that the injuries were severe but did not pose a threat. He showed me the CT scan on the computer. I didn't know what the heck I was looking at, but he explained it. He said that the interior damage to my face would heal over time. There was one issue of the numbness. He said that he could do a surgery but it was not guaranteed that it would health the nerve, depending on the extent of the damage. So we scheduled surgery. It was across the street in the hospital. He came in while I was being prepped. Then after the surgery he explained how it went to Precious. Then I had a follow up visit followed by another follow up visit a month later. It's been about a year now. Most of the numbness is gone. There is only a very small portion of my face that is numb. I'm just as handsome as I was before which truth be told is a very low bar. Throughout the process the doctor explained the injuries, he showed me the CT scan, during the follow ups he was a good communicator always open to questions and always explaining the process. I had the impression that this doctor is very competent and caring. I also appreciate very much how he explained everything and was always willing to answer questions.

It felt like something in my septum was squishy and out of place after the accident. I was having trouble breathing and sleeping. I thought an ENT could look at it and find a solution. Gupta barely looked at my nose. He asked to look at my covered forehead wound, but I said I was not comfortable taking off my bandaid. The hospital that stitched me said I should keep it covered for 2 months. He seemed offended that I wouldn't let him. Then he left the room for awhile. Eventually he came back into the room with a long tube thing. He said it had a camera to look in my nose. The weird thing is he didn't even put it down my nose or anything. He just looked into it from the edge of my nose. He had already done that. Then he said there was no swelling and nothing wrong with it, while also saying to give it time. How would time help if there's nothing wrong with it? He basically said I was being silly and ignored my symptoms. I already had a second opinion lined up for a couple days later. That doctor said there was swelling and that there was a pocket of blood on one side that was closing off that nostril. She drained the blood and I could immediately breathe normal. So clearly Gupta just doesn't know what he is doing. To make matters worse. I then get a bill saying he charged my insurance $900 dollars for "surgery" which I learn was him pretending to use the endoscopy tube so he can charge more money. I messaged and called his office about this, but they ignored me. Don't bother going here.

I have seen Dr. Lee for two different situations. The first was several years ago for nasal valve…read morecollapse surgery. This surgery was partially successful, However, my primary reason for writing this review was that last year, Dr. Lee was very adamant that a salivary gland lump/cyst I had was nothing to be concerned about and several enlarged lymph nodes in my clavicle area could be looked at again in "several months". He knew I was a lymphoma survivor, yet said this, anyway. He was extremely arrogant and was very condescending. I then went to my prior oncologist, who got me a biopsy right away. It turned out to be diffuse large B cell lymphoma in my salivary gland. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone, unless it was something very simple for him to deal with. If I could rate him 0, I would do so.

I was (mis)diagnosed by my primary care provider with an ear infection ("fluid in the ear") and…read moreprescribed antibiotics. That diagnose kind of made sense given that I just recovered from the flu the week before. But when my hearing did not recover after being on antibiotics for 3 days, my husband pleaded with me to see an ENT specialist and I am so glad that he did!!! I came to this office because it was the first place that had availability. From the beginning, the office staff was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Dr. Gurian, who I found to be extremely kind, informative, patient and empathetic, didn't think I had an ear infection and was concerned enough about my particular case that he immediately squeezed me in to see his on-site audiologist for a hearing test. After my test results came back (right then and there), it confirmed his suspicion that I didn't have an ear infection at all but rather was suffering from sudden sensorineural hearing loss. Basically, I needed steroids (not antibiotics) to reduce inflammation I had in my inner ear caused by the flu virus. The inflammation was so bad that it was basically strangling and killing the nerves in my ear causing hearing loss. Dr. Gurian explained all of this to me and described his recommended course of action. He would start with non-invasive steroid meds and if that didn't work, then steroid injections and ultimately a possible MRI as the last resort. He could tell that I was starting to freak out and he was nothing but kind, informative and calming. It was also so great that his office had an audiologist on-site and the necessary equipment to properly diagnose my issue. I am so incredibly thankful to Dr. Gurian, his nurses, audiologist and the rest of his team. They were all so TERRIFIC and had it not been for Dr. Gurian, I probably would have sustained permanent hearing loss in my ear. Thank you so much Dr. Gurian!!!

I've been to many ENT clinics over many years, but it's truly rare to find someone who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely caring. I've struggled for years with allergies, asthma, a deviated septum, and chronic sinus issues. Dr. Egan performed my surgery, and the results have been amazing.
