On Friday, Dec. 5 late afternoon, just ONE business day before the appt., I get a call from O.M. telling me Dr. Fell's office cancelled my appt. because they do not accept new patients anymore. 1. Why was appt. available and booked if Dr. Fell does not accept new patients anymore? 2. Why notify me end of day on Friday, one business day before the actual appt? 3. Why not having the decency/courtesy to call me directly to let me know? Perhaps Dr. Fell is indeed a good doctor (I did not get a chance to experience), however, given the way HIS office/people handled this matter, makes him a terrible leader. And as we all know, the buck stops with the boss. Disappointing, to say the least.

I called on a Friday afternoon, they saw us 20 mins after I called requesting an appointment. And we had our results back from them on Tuesday!! What?? Yes!! I can't thank them enough for their diligence and speed! It's exactly what we needed. I called several other doctors offices to request appointments and nobody would take us on such short notice, especially on a Friday afternoon. They all wanted to book us a week later and results would have come a week after that appointment. But the doctor, nurses and techs here at St. Thomas' totally worked with us! Like I said, they took us right there and then, did all needed tests on site, and I was able to pick up the results 2 business days later. The words THANK YOU can't describe how truly grateful we were for these folks. But thank you!!! :)

The result, seemingly endless phone calls. There no numbers which can be called, and Sutters many listed phone numbers are not answered by humans, its all phone trees. What a pity to have to write this, but after weeks of sometimes hourly calls I had to turn off the volume on my phone!! So viewers know how I responded to the "response" from sutter. "I've already detailed the problem. Yeah I get your doing the PR spin of a company that wants to "do better". Honestly I have had enough and your outsourced company is horrible and should be sued for invasion of privacy and mental torture. Just STOP IT!!"

I asked if it even is illegal to record and None of the nurses were talking to me Or answering my question. None of the doctors wanted to have a conversation with me completely unprofessional. I'm a young girl tring to have a conversation and they immediately wanted to call the cops. They threatened to cancel my appointment for not wearing a mask they called the cops on me for no reason and the doctor is completely sporadic on her decisions. Here's what happened: · A nurse practitioner refused to give me a treatment plan. She insisted I wait six months for an experimental exam, while I was actively declining after a year of untreated illness. · When I refused to wait and asked for qualified care, she retaliated. She dismissed my condition, told me to seek different employment, and demanded I return to work with no treatment or diagnosis. · She ordered repeated blood tests to "prove malnutrition"; even though I'd told her I couldn't eat for over two years. Nonsensical, wasteful, and cruel. · I complained. Stanford acknowledged it and promised an internal investigation, including reviewing the fees. Instead of resolving anything, they sent my bill to collections, without notice, without decision, while I was still in distress. · My credit was damaged. I couldn't access funds for care. I eventually disengaged from Stanford out of fear and cumulative abuse. Result: Worsening organ damage, multiple ER visits, psychological trauma, loss of employment, permanent impairment. I've had to pay for costly alternative treatments out of pocket. If you have a complex or chronic condition, do not trust Stanford Health Care. They punish patients for advocating for themselves. It is one of the best professional recommendations I think I have ever had, throughout my long history. Let's just say that I've been through a few flus, some obnoxious allergies, and various other things (including COVID). But, Dr. Shah invariably was "there" for me/us - even often above and beyond what I would *ever* expect from a busy physician. This man is unreal, and he has continually shown my entire family that he is there FOR US. I simply can not give a higher recommendation for any professional individual, EVER. My only "fear" is that I "disappoint" him by not being "as-good" a patient as I can, or attending to my own health as well as I should... that's not his fault, though - I'm a grown man, unfortunately, I have become far-too-accustomed to "avoiding" the (previously mediocre) doctor, even when most everyone (including my spouse) says "you should go to a doctor." It really doesn't take a DOCTOR to determine if the skin test doesn't work on me in this case, b/c I had already done that years ago at CVS and it came out positive. Thus, the reason why this SAME facility gave me Xrays only in the past, at least two different times. I told her, I already know the skin test does not work on me. That is why the same doctor from this facility skipped the skin test and did Xrays (plural) on me 2 different times in the past. The skin test will only come out positive and an X ray is inevitable. So, a new patient visiting fee of $120 and the TB skin test of $60; then, the 2nd visiting fee of $70 + another TB Xray for $60. That's a total of $310. What is this but a design to make patients pay a 2nd visit no matter the facts, and pay more money for no reason at all. Common sense does not appeal to these people. Ludicrous!
