When I first took my daughter who was 1 then, it took her 2 weeks to settle and the staff remained gentle and patient, even gave me some pointers to break her into the daycare schedule. I LOVE LITTLE ORCHARD KAYSVILLE! Just by meeting the program director (Michelle Paez) you get a sense of the high standard Little Orchard PreSchool is held to. My 3.5 y/o has a speech delay, mild sensory sensitivity, and severe separation anxiety. Ms. Michelle reassured me that the staff are prepared to help kids with any transitioning difficulties they may experience. They are INCREDIBLY empathetic and patient with each student, my son actually hung out with Ms. Michelle his first 2 days of school and once he felt safe with her; she helped him transition into the classroom without her. The level of compassion and respect they give to our kids is outstanding. Other things I found note worthy... - CLEAN: The facility has a modern and updated interior. The layout is simple and very clean/organized. - STRUCTURED PROGRAM: The program is Montessori based and is very much routined and structured. They have a set daily schedule and implement early education skills (reading, writing, etc.) - GREAT COMMUNICATION: The program director is the bridge of communication between you/your kids and the teachers. This makes communicating thoughts and concerns consistent and easy! If I have a concern about my son, I can just call, text, or email Ms. Michelle and she does the rest. I decided to write this review bc last week I noticed a bruise on my son's face on a day he had school. I reached out to Ms. Michelle and asked if she could check in with his teachers and see if he had an accident or hurt himself. She called me and said that she had talked to all of staff that interacted with my son AND she personally reviewed footage from his school day to make sure there weren't any incidents where he could have been hurt. I just felt very impressed with the level of safety precautions and immediate communication to re-iterate that our children's safety is their top priority. - COMMUNITY: There are activities that families can participate in that make it fun easy to interact with the school community. - PROCARE APP: Little Orchard has a smartphone app where you can sign in/out your child from school, get personal updates from teachers, get pictures/summaries of activities the kids are doing in real time, update personal information, pay tuition, direct message the staff, etc. The app is user friendly, easy to navigate, and makes it easy to never miss an update! Long story short; if you want a community that will enable your kids to thrive socially, emotionally, physically, and academically, CHOOSE LITTLE ORCHARD!

The hours are 6 AM to 6 PM Monday-Friday, closed weekends & major holidays. Kids are given breakfast at 7:30, Lunch at 11, and a snack at 2 PM. Teachers follow a curriculum to provide kids with art projects, learning, and outdoor play. All teachers are CPR/First Aid certified, have their food handlers, as well as have been background checked. Kids are kept a close eye on as well as engaged with individually to meet their own personal goals and unlock their potential. Great learning experience, and the bonds the teachers share with the children are so special!

The issues with this place is the rate of bullying and the lack of care from staff! My daughter is quiet and keeps to her herself. Most days she's scared to even go to school. Today I had picked her up from the last day of summer school and as we were driving off a girl (of a different race) leaned out of the back of the truck she was in and looked at my daughter and yelled "dumb b****"! apparently this has been thing that has been going on the whole school year. My daughter didn't want to say anything due to being scared of getting beat up!!!!!! This girl is a bully and my daughter's counselor was already aware of the bullying issues During the school year (this is what my daughter tells me) and all my daughter gets is a "well let me know if it happens again and you can come sit in here if it makes you feel safe".... Are you for real!? I called the school today to make them aware that I will involve the police and the school if there is NO corrective action taken WHEN this happens again. The bullying issues were not ever to this extent when I attended Bonneville. Its truly sad and pathetic that adults are too afraid to actually take care of and stop bullying like they LOVE to advertise!!! Bonneville High School staff, you all should be very ashamed that you preach "no bullying allowed" but are too scared to actually STOP IT!!!!!!

She's done two years here (she's on her third year) and has had a fantastic experience. She's had great teachers and made some awesome friends. I feel like the principal has been doing a great job making the school a better place. He truly cares about each and every student. The times I've emailed him with questions, he's responded quickly and answered honestly. I'm very impressed with him and the way he runs this school.

Doesn't social distance students properly during lunch or during school. Mostly none of the…read morestudents wear their masks correctly and the teachers never even care. Holt elementary janitors never clean the toilets at all. They put the toilet cleaner in the toilet but they don't scrub or anything then put the seats up to make it look like they do something. The only good janitor is randy Bonney who is probably the oldest janitor at holt. (I go to holt elementary. I've been there since pre-k, I'm in 6th grade and leaving this next yr. I'd give holt a zero star review but I HAVE to give it at least a one star review to post.)
