Myself and my family have been going to Ideal Optical for many many years and seeing Dr. Sharon Garcha for the past few years. From the days of the original store to the beautifully renovated one, every visit has been a truly positive experience. We've always been treated with the utmost respect, and the service goes above and beyond -- whether it's for a new pair of glasses or a simple repair. Dr. Garcha takes her time with every appointment, thoroughly explaining everything and patiently answering all our questions. Her professionalism and warm nature create such a comfortable environment. If you don't require high power lens like I do, you can probably get a pair for around or under $100. Mine usually cost less the $200 with the thinnest lens because of my high pescription. The glasses take a few days to make. Once they have taken your measurement and you have selected your glasses. They ask you for a deposit and call in a few says to a week to pickup your glasses.

The owner said that cheap eyeglasses were like that. He could not do anything. The price per pair of eyeglasses was close to $200. I bought a pair of eyeglasses by less than $ 100 three years ago in another store. There was no crack between lenses and frame. I never see this kind of crack between lenses and frames in other eyeglasses.

And we got an appointment immediately and we are here for the exam we had a small waiting time which is tolerable and they did explain how two insurances company work together and how me and my husband could submit the claim. And also they do offer free eye exam if we take the glasses from them and adjust the fee with the glasses. Which is good, and it would give you more room of expenditure for your glasses.. they have pretty good collections , as I would always say they have quality than quantity.

To start, I was slightly late for appointment with Dr. Jennifer Trac - literally running to the store because I got lost in the PATH. The staff was super understanding and checked me in very quickly, breezing through my pretest while asking me all the right questions and getting all the relevant information. Allan & Tate were extremely professional but still friendly during my visit. I felt really comfortable & confident in their ability to help me. When I went back to see Dr. Trac, she blew me away with her attention to detail and her ability to easily translate all her results into regular people language that I could understand. She was extremely patient in answering all my questions, and giving me an updated prescription that was definitely needed. Allan is actually a magician and picked out a beautiful pair of frames for me. They are light-weight titanium and suit my face really well, he has a great eye! Tate is the sweetest, he was on the phone with the insurance portal forever because the website for direct billing was down for maintenance when I got there. Their direct billing service is extremely convenient & definitely something I'll look for in the future. My glasses were ready in about a week & a half, which was expected because my prescription is kind of high and I added a lot of features on the lenses. The blue blockers are highly recommended by me if you spend a lot of time on a screen, it's made my eyes fatigue a lot less than they used to. I highly recommend you come! I think they have a discount for Ryerson students which definitely helps on the student budget, but regardless of who you are they definitely take your eye health seriously. Such an amazing experience, I'm blown away by the quality of service from this establishment.
