We stumbled into this park upon accident while walking around the Inner Harbor. It sits right on the end, and is really cute! Not to mention it looks brand new/newly renovated! Although it's small, there's a few different elements to this park. There's a small playground that almost looks like giant Teepees (what initially caught our attention,) a skate park, and an interesting, triangular hill where you can see one of the best views of Baltimore's skyline. This park is worth going to if you're already at the harbor. It's also right next door to the science center.

This is a great family friendly park in the Baltimore Harbor. The park is clean, it has beach volleyball, a playground area and great views of the harbor and federal hill. I went to the Baltimore Maryland crab festival held at the park and enjoyed the ambiance. There were a plethora of food options at the festival. The main attraction was of course crabs. The crabs were provided by Conrad's who always do a great job with their preparation. Their were many other food options and beverage options. We didn't stay long because it was extremely hot but it was definitely a fun experience. I can't wait until next year's festival.

We went to Inner Harbor, Baltimore today and bumped into a brand new adventure park----Rash Field Park. It had a beautiful waterfront views and much much more. There were porch swings, sand and lawn playing area, a skate park, pavilion, a green roof overlooking the harbor. It's a great place for families with young kids.

What a fun park! It says 5-17 years old can climb but let me tell you-it's fun for all ages. Loved everything about it. It's clean and fun and great to explore and climb and swing. Love it!!!!

Nice little pocket park located in the Inner Harbour and and across the street from Federal Hill Park. Amazingly, a kiddie climbing area and a board skating area were able to be fitted in such a small park. This was a great addition to the Federal Hill neighborhood.

I have been to several event's held here at Rashfield Park. This time l was here for Drink Local Festival. They had entertainment and several trucks selling food. The one we selected was Soul food. It was called "LuvPlates Soul & Grill " l purchased the BBQ Spareribs. For $15.00 a plate it came with two side's. I had the Greens and Mac and cheese. The ribs were nice and tender and the mac n cheese was something good! Greens wasn't bad at all. My husband purchased the jerk chicken. It came with one side because it on top of rice. He also purchased the Greens. He said his chicken was flavorful but not heavily spiced. His meal was also the same price as mine. They were giving away water at one of the stands which was a good thing. It was quite hot and with all that drinking going on. We had the two for 1 price ticket purchase. I'm glad we did. They gave you a 12 oz plastic mug. It was fine for the Beer samples but l thought for the wine that was ridiculous. They didn't give you much wine to sample but between the Beer wine and Spirits. I must admit I was feeling pretty good when l left. The band kept it moving and you could win prizes from the different vendors. What can l say. I love DRINKEATRELAX.COM. That is other than Yelp. Check them out you are bound to find events to attend. So enjoy my fellow Yelpers.

2018 Walk Out Darkness

I never knew where Rash Field was. Was here for the Out Of the Darkness walk event. The space was big enough and it allowed us to walk around the harbor. Not too many benches for seating around the area. The wooden bars were wet, so sitting on those were out of the question.

Me and my friends made a quick stop on the way home from brunch in the Cross Keys area, and the day was perfect for it. The park was alive with families and their furry friends just having small picnics and taking in the scenery. If you're not familiar with Sherwood Garden's, it's a privately owned community park in the Guilford section of Baltimore City. It's been famous for its annual tulip since the 1920's by John Sherwood, whose home bordered the park. To this day up to 70000 tulips are planted annually along with other flowers such as magnolias and dogwoods to name a few. Best time to visit is always towards the end of April and beginning of May. Although a private park, the public is always invited to stroll at your leisure throughout the grounds. The ongoing displays are 100% privately funded and depends entirely on contributions to fulfill its mission of providing a natural place for recreation for the community and related education.

There is no start or end, so just park on one of the surrounding streets and walk over. We were there the third weekend in April, and while the tulips were definitely past their peak, and many were completely gone, there were plenty of flower beds of tulips still blooming. Plus, almost all of the azaleas were blooming. I loved that they had so many different colored tulips and azaleas. They did different combination of colors in all the different flower beds, so we ended up seeing some surprisingly beautiful displays, even with some tulips no longer blooming. We weren't there very long because it was cold out, but this would be a great spot for engagement pictures or a picnic.

Notably, the parking lot requires an advance reservation on peak dates, and this policy has been expanded to cover more dates due to the pandemic lockdown pushing people to spend their days outdoors. The trail is a short loop to the falls. Great Falls this isn't, but it's significant enough to generate a nice spray. A rather upset-looking fish flopped down shallow water as I approached. Upstream of the falls was a challenge. Few fords were viable, perhaps owing to heavy rain, and signs suggesting the area was blocked off were ignored by expeditions looking for better crossings. I made it across the stream and back, but I did get a little wet. The scenery isn't worth a long drive on its own, but paired with the other local park sites, it makes for good viewing, and in particular this space with its parking limitations can't get too crowded.
