Awesome place - great eats. Owned by a gentleman named Zane - who is from Vancouver (he spotted my Grizzlies jersey and we chatted about living in Kitslano). The kids were looking for a change of pace from lobster rolls, fish and chips, chowders, and burgers - and this hit the spot. Zane has a short menu, but everything on it would rank amongst the best meat and vegan food options we would have had back in Vancouver. We had the La Bandida for the kids - and it was tasty and delicious. My wife tried the Royal Dahl (vegan) as a bowl and loved it. I had the La Reina (also vegan) choosing to go non meat for the day - and it was great. Menu pictures attached. No alcohol served, but a good mix of Propellier Pop and Bubly drinks. We also grabbed a pie (made by his mother-in-law with local ingredients), but as of the time of this review we haven't eaten yet. Grab your food to go, walk down to the waterfront, and enjoy your meal at a picnic table or bench. Lunenberg is amazing. So is this spot.

Delicious vegan and carnivore burritos. Two thumbs up from my household! Offer two sizes for different appetites, too.

For example, my fried scallops were in the same batter as Chinese chicken fingers. Very odd for fried seafood like this. The only highlight was our server who was very pleasant.

We called ahead and they made room for our larger group of 6, but the tables around us were constantly full. Loved the nautical decor all around. We did get a baby high chair but I don't think I noticed a baby change table in the bathroom. Service was good, food took awhile but as mentioned above it was super busy here. For the food we ordered up an appetizer of calamari. Crispy and battered perfectly! The kids loved the batter and even ate quite a bit of the squid. Kids grilled cheese with fries- they loved it and were happy. Pan seared scallops- Nova Scotia's finest, pan seared in lemon butter, served with vegetables, potato or rice pilaf, fresh baked roll and coleslaw. I ordered the rice and it was so nice to have an option other than French fries. The rice and vegetables were delightful and the kids actually liked them quite a bit as well. The scallops were so tender and juicy and had a great portion. Lobster linguine- Sweet Atlantic lobster sautéed with fresh mushrooms, tossed in our signature lobster cream sauce and linguine pasta and served with garlic toast. So so rich and absolutely amazing flavor! This dish was so so good! Seafood combo: Fish and scallops Famous fish & chips battered or cracker crumbled, roll, coleslaw & tartar sauce. They had a variety of these combos you could order but we were feeling scallops. Batter on them was different than on the calamari. Still tasty and the scallops looked huge inside.
