My husband and I took his uncle and aunt out for lunch at Memories and overall the food was good. It's a cafe where you order and pay at the counter. Then they give you a number to place at your table. Once your food is ready, they bring it to your table. It was my husband's and my first time there, but my husband's uncle and aunt are regulars. They had their usual orders, which were the Club Sandwich ($8.50) and the BLT ($6.25) I got the Fish Cakes with Chow Chow and a side garden salad ($11.95). My husband got the Chicken Curry "Panini" (either $8.95 or $9.95, I forget). The sandwiches do not come with sides. My fish cakes were quite good. They were a little more potatoes than fish, but still flavourful and tasty. It was my first time having chow chow (which I've been told is a very Nova Scotian thing) and I would describe it as a green tomato relish. It went well with the fish cakes. The side salad was mostly romaine lettuce with some cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions and grated cheese. The dressing was a creamy ranch. The salad was nothing special IMO, but ingredients were at least fresh. My husband's "Panini" was more of a grilled sandwich, as the bread was sliced sandwich bread and not the bread one usually associates with panini. It was pressed in a grill though. He liked it, but it looked too mayonnaise-y for me, lol. My husband's aunt and uncle enjoyed their sandwiches. Staff were friendly and the place has a relaxed cafe atmosphere. There aren't that many places to eat out in Liverpool (NS), but Memories seems to be one of the more popular places. There's free parking in the town lot, by the information centre, which is really close by (well, everything in Liverpool is close by, lol, but you can literally see the cafe from the parking lot). read more

Best Tex Mex wrap EVER! I love it so much I've been eating it since I had my first one in 2016. I can't bring myself to eat anything different. I'm in LOVE! If you're lucky Jeffrey will be there to dish out some abuse when you visit. He's our local comedian. He'll keep you in stitches while you wait for your order. The place is filled with local characters, all of whom are charming. Sometimes I just go for the Tex Mex, some guff from Jeffrey and the latest gossip. Memories is a must stop place. Stopped by on a very warm day to try some of their ice cream. Place had an extensive menu, but we didn't get a chance to try anything else as we had already eaten. Ice cream was tasty and a good size for a great price. Located right down by the Liverpool water front, so offers a great place to look over the water while eating your ice cream. read more

Memories Cafe & Eatery is a new place that opened up in Liverpool. I went with my friend and it wasn't that busy when we ordered. Staff members were polite but getting my food was a little bit slow but I'm sure for now they're still working out some issues that come along with owning a new business. Shortly after my friend and I sat down the place became filled with people, it was nice to see a business doing so well in a small town. I had a ham and cheese panini while my friend had the vegetable and beef soup and a sandwich. Food was fantastic and I can't wait to go back again and hopefully be able to give a full five-star review! If you're in Liverpool and looking for a place to eat, this is probably the best place to go. read more

Stopped by for an early lunch on a sunny Saturday. The cafe is air conditioned, spacious and clean. Counter service for only breakfast and lunch. Had a Philly Steak Panini and a cup of coffee. The Panini was well seasoned with steak, peppers, onions and mozzarella. Friendly service with a broad range of paninis, sandwiches, wraps and salads. A large beverage selection too. Overall, a good place to visit for a light meal or just a coffee break. read more

Stopped in Liverpool today for lunch. Asked a lady if Memories cafe and eatery was a good place to eat. We were assured that it was. It was a nice clean place and very pleasant surroundings.
