I would even use this business for any tire or auto work that I may need in the future, because I believe that this business would be fair, honest and highly competent about any auto repairs (as other reviewers have repeatedly noted). I normally use my Honda dealership for my oil changes and maintenance, but for major auto repairs, dealerships are very expensive, and not always available. I recently used PEP Boys of Bridgewater for a simple headlight change and they blew out the dashboard lights on my car, making it a very costly experience. In the future, I will likely use B&T instead of PEP Boys for basic repairs, rather than any chain automobile business. It's difficult to find honest auto repair businesses, as several reviewers note, so B & T Tire & Auto may be a real find.

Another shop did the job, and used mediocre pads, with re-surfaced rotors. There was horrible noise, and the shop tried to tell me it was due to the rotors. They replaced the pads twice with the same cheap pads. Al also replaced the ball joint in Left, front, and the car drives like new! He even took the time to call Honda, to get the radio code to get my radio working again, after replacing the battery! Of course, no appointments are necessary or available, so when I pulled up, I was required to join the very long line. It extended out into the road. That said, with four cars in front of me, it only took 45 or so minutes to finally get in. Once my car entered the bay, a very sweet young person began to help me. They didn't try to oversell me on things I didn't need and were honest about how long I could go without changing things like my air filter, wipers, etc. That is not the experience I've had at places like Jiffy Lube. Anyway, I was in and out in like 17 minutes. Everyone was super kind. Note: Many employees were not wearing masks so if that is important to you, I recommend wearing your mask in your car while your vehicle is being serviced since they talk to you through the window.

As a result, the skid plate came loose while I was driving and left me stranded on the highway. This was not a minor inconvenience. A basic part of completing the service correctly is making sure anything removed during the service is properly reinstalled and secured before the customer leaves. I should never have been put in a situation where I was stuck on the highway because something underneath my vehicle was left unsecured. I contacted Valvoline Customer Service, the store was contacted, and the manager called me. I am documenting everything, including the condition of the skid plate and the costs associated with correcting this issue. I expect Valvoline to take full responsibility for replacing the damaged skid plate and addressing any other expenses or damage caused by this incident. Mistakes can happen, but negligence that creates a safety issue on the highway is unacceptable. Customers trust a service center to return their vehicle in safe driving condition. That did not happen in my case.

Took my car in for an oil change and when I picked it up, they said I needed new tires. Quote was for 600.00, it is a Chevy Cruze, really? Went to goodyear and got the same four tires for 360.00. My son had his car there and they replaced the headlight and did an oil change. The claimed his oil pan was so rusted it needed to be replaced and if they didn't replace it, all the oil would leak it. It's been two weeks and the oil is fine. The headlight is turning yellow and is foggy. He went back today and they refused to correct their mistake. Never again, this place went down hill! They agreed to refund us for the light but took no responsibility for their services. I like the mechanic here and I wish him the best but they need to own up to their mistake. Although I would like to give them another chance, we will not be going back here.
