Went today for the third time and it was very disappointing. I was attended by a young lady. First, she didn't give me sanitizer for my hands like other places do before we start. Then during the threading process I noticed she was sick. She paused in the middle of doing my eyebrows and wiped her nose on a tissue. She didn't bother sanitizing her hands. It was very upsetting cause she is literally standing right over me. After she was done, she grabbed the mirror and showed me. After I confirmed that it was fine, she took off. She is short and younger looking, wearing all brown, she's in the 2nd chair from the left. She has a very heavy hand and sliced me! One eye brow is higher than the other and a little too far apart from each other. I really am unsatisfied with my results. I was walking by here yesterday 8/6/2021 after the movies and it caught my attention the pictures of henna they have on the outside. I walked in and treated my little nieces to henna but I did the more elaborate one. This here costs $15. I didn't mind the price but I was really looking forward to getting my first ever Henna. They're beautiful and so intriguing to look at. However this was my end result. The lady didn't take her time, this was a sloppy job like if a child did the job. I've been coming here for over two years after leaving a place in South Gate BC they messed up my brows. I loved coming here for Susan bc she was so nice and would listen to how I wanted my brows and she'd give great advice and they would turn out PERFECT I would always get compliments. This was the best eyebrow treading experience I have ever had. I was walking around the promenade after having dinner and I decided to get my eyebrows threaded. I walked in 10 minutes before closing and was immediately greeted. I checked in and was taken to a chair right away. My threading specialist was Bella and she was quick and threaded pretty painlessly. I have a bit of a funky shaped brow and most places will leave them looking a little uneven but Bella left them perfectly shaped. I also had my upper lip threaded here. I really don't like to leave bad reviews, but this was definitely needed. The owner is amazing but I think she needs to find better and talented people instead of hiring people who don't know what they're doing. I came in 2/07/2021 for a full face wax. Usually I get my eyebrows threaded and my full face threaded. This time I decided to do wax because the pain is more tolerable than threading. So for one the lady who waxed me didnt know how to, she waxed my right side burns so much that in comparison to the left it is super uneven! Her finger nails were absolutely filthy and had the nerve to ask if I wanted her to massage the after gel into my skin. After waxing my face she went to threading my entire face (confused as to why she went through with it but the manager told her to) and didn't even get all of my hairs off. There's no point in doing waxing if you don't know how to wax! Just stick to threading if you can't get all of the hairs off. I thought it was a little weird that she's doing two totally different methods of hair removal which isn't safe. Today, my face has scabs in various areas either to her burning or cutting me with the thread! I will not be coming back and now I see why this business has such horrible reviews. read more
