Went today for the third time and it was very disappointing. I was attended by a young lady. First, she didn't give me sanitizer for my hands like other places do before we start. Then during the threading process I noticed she was sick. She paused in the middle of doing my eyebrows and wiped her nose on a tissue. She didn't bother sanitizing her hands. It was very upsetting cause she is literally standing right over me. After she was done, she grabbed the mirror and showed me. After I confirmed that it was fine, she took off. She didn't bother to wipe off any excess hairs or hand me a tissue to do it myself. She literally took off and said nothing. I would not return. I went out of my way to go to this place. I really am unsatisfied with my results. I was walking by here yesterday 8/6/2021 after the movies and it caught my attention the pictures of henna they have on the outside. I walked in and treated my little nieces to henna but I did the more elaborate one. This here costs $15. I didn't mind the price but I was really looking forward to getting my first ever Henna. They're beautiful and so intriguing to look at. However this was my end result. The lady didn't take her time, this was a sloppy job like if a child did the job. She saw more people coming inside so she tried rushing this. Instead of doing line by line she started smearing the ink in blobs. I asked it will dry and not look like this right? She is short and younger looking, wearing all brown, she's in the 2nd chair from the left. She has a very heavy hand and sliced me! One eye brow is higher than the other and a little too far apart from each other. I asked for only a clean up since I've been trying to grow out my eyebrows for over 3 months now..she took it upon herself to shape them. Came here this past Saturday overall the place is nice but the workers do not know what they are doing I got my eyebrows done and asked for a facial wax which I completely ended up regretting immediately afterwards I am a very nice person paid and made no complaint which I regret now because I paid $25 and ended up with red side burns on my cheeks and not to mention the girl waxing my face pulled the wax so hard at a point and I'm guessing she didn't pull right because the wax didn't come off and it hurt like a B***h to where she follows with ooo I'm so sorry ... after my service she places aloe Vera on my face which immediately brings some type of cooling relief at the time it didn't look to bad but now my face looks worse than how I came in she left burns on my face and not to mention the big one on my chin which I will drop below unfortunately I forgot to get a photo of how my upper cheeks looked right after thankfully that area cleared up by the next day but still left little tiny open scars on my face ... this review is to bring awareness to anyone who wants to get a service done here please rara threading do better they made me think it was because of my "sensitive skin " this happened but I regret agreeing with them now clearly this wasn't a case of sensitive skin.. my red flag should've been when the girl before me walked away angry which was very clear on her face To the owner that was there please check the ladies you have working there they look unsure of what they are doing and obviously need more practice if they are going to be doing facial waxing read more

This was the best eyebrow treading experience I have ever had. I was walking around the promenade after having dinner and I decided to get my eyebrows threaded. I walked in 10 minutes before closing and was immediately greeted. I checked in and was taken to a chair right away. I've been coming here for over two years after leaving a place in South Gate BC they messed up my brows. I loved coming here for Susan bc she was so nice and would listen to how I wanted my brows and she'd give great advice and they would turn out PERFECT I would always get compliments. Recently, Susan has not been there since around May and I would get threaded by other ladies who would do a TERRIBLE JOB the last time I went was in May for my graduation and the lady rushed it and made me eyelids BLEED plus she left a bunch of noticeable hairs. I have been calling nearly daily to check if Susan is coming soon and they keep saying she's on vacation or sick. At first glance at the reviews I was a little hesitant to visit this threading salon, however, my expectations were far beyond met. I went in during my lunch time and there was no wait. My threading specialist was Bella and she was quick and threaded pretty painlessly. I have a bit of a funky shaped brow and most places will leave them looking a little uneven but Bella left them perfectly shaped. I also had my upper lip threaded here. I really don't like to leave bad reviews, but this was definitely needed. The owner is amazing but I think she needs to find better and talented people instead of hiring people who don't know what they're doing. I came in 2/07/2021 for a full face wax. Usually I get my eyebrows threaded and my full face threaded. This time I decided to do wax because the pain is more tolerable than threading. So for one the lady who waxed me didnt know how to, she waxed my right side burns so much that in comparison to the left it is super uneven! Her finger nails were absolutely filthy and had the nerve to ask if I wanted her to massage the after gel into my skin. After waxing my face she went to threading my entire face (confused as to why she went through with it but the manager told her to) and didn't even get all of my hairs off. There's no point in doing waxing if you don't know how to wax! Just stick to threading if you can't get all of the hairs off. I thought it was a little weird that she's doing two totally different methods of hair removal which isn't safe. Today, my face has scabs in various areas either to her burning or cutting me with the thread! I will not be coming back and now I see why this business has such horrible reviews. read more
