Pristine Body Studio, is definitely the place to go when it comes to waxing! I've been to my share…read moreof waxing places in both Dallas and Houston, and I'd have to say Monique does a great job! She made me feel extremely comfortable, informed about the process, while being very professional. Initially it can be a bit confusing finding the place, but look for the French Quarter Salon. It's a grand looking place in the middle of 2920 with a pretty little body of water in front. There's other empty looking plazas in front but take a drive all the way behind those, and you'll find a parking lot, to park by the French Quarter Salon. This place is extremely huge, and seems like a building filled with beauty various treatment businesses, so don't get too confused and just ask the ladies in front where to go. I got a bit confused and almost ended up going up the stairs, but decided to save myself possible embarrassment and just asked. The women at the front directed me on how to contact Monique for my appointment while I waited in the lobby. As for the entire experience, Monique gave me a sit down of the products she used, some useful tips, and answered any questions I had. While being waxed, she was very informative about what was going on as well as entertaining! It's weird to say, but I actually enjoyed coming here to get waxed. There was lots of conversation that helped me get my mind off of what was going on, and I actually felt little to no pain during the whole process. Nothing bad to comment on at all. I'll be coming back for another appointment in the future and do recommend any first timers to visit her and make an appointment on her website. If you're new at waxing or would just like to try Pristine Body Studio, Monique offers a free first time armpit or eyebrow wax.

I live in southwest Houston and drive all the way up north for Giselle to work on my skincare…read moreneeds. That should say enough! Her reasonable prices make the drive totally worth it. I just finished a peel and my skin feels softer and looks brighter and even-toned. I typically wear a lot of liquid foundation and then top with a powder foundation, but since my peel I only needed to wear the powder. This weekend I am coming in for a microderm. She works uniquely every individual and recommends what they need. Her suite is super comfy that I just want to nap. The only thing I dread about coming here are the extractions! It's like going to the dentist. Not very pleasant but I know it's good for me.

Warning! Warning! You will get hooked on facials after seeing Giselle…read more No joke! I was struggling with my skin and I had no idea what else to do. I changed my diet, I switched skin regimes too often to count, I started cleaning my bed sheets weekly, and nope, nothing seemed to relieve it. After talking to a friend, she told me I should try getting a facial and thanks to Yelp! I was able to find Giselle and haven't looked back since. She really takes her time with you. I always go with her recommendation on what kind of treatment to do, and my skin always looks great after. Her prices aren't too shabby either, I've never had a facial before her, so after visiting her my expectations were very high. One time my friend wanted to go to a facial, and I was a bit hesitant because I already had a great Giselle! But I decided to try it out and there was a promotion. No, never again! I felt it was a waste and they were so rushed and rough during extractions. I will always go back to Giselle, don't doubt your gut. Give her a try, make sure you get an appointment!
