I'm a quiet person but she was a very talkative, sweet lady and my nails came out perfect. Not much of a variety of nail colors but they have the option for gel polishes. She also mentioned to me that she does threading but I didn't get to do them. She said her usual schedule is weekends only so I'm not sure if they have another person during the week that takes her place. Aside from the nails, she convinced me to book an appointment for a haircut. I haven't cut my hair since Oct. and it was extremely long and my hair is naturally thick. I'm not aure how I lasted the winter lol. So I made the appointment and they placed me with John. He was very nice and he listened to exactly how I wanted my hair to look. For about a year I've been trying to re-shape my layers to make them more of a V shape instead of the classic U shape. The last time I had someone cut my hair they just gave me the same haircut as alway and didn't listen. I also needed to chop off a good 3 inches so I was prepared for a change! I showed him a photo of the exact look I wanted, and he delivered just that. I was also very impressed by how quick he worked on my hair. I was out in less than two hours and thats including a blow dry! Usually my experience at salons take a good 3 hours, I've been clearly getting my hair done by turtles! She took my long beautiful gray white hair and made a pony tail, and cut it off and that was it. Never cleaned the back of my neck, never layered my hair as requested to spike it. I did remind her of the spiral hair growth in the back but she ignored my plea to make sure that the top would cover it. and keep the back longer. Nope, she was to busy doing other things when I was her client at the time. There was no styling or effort from her and sadly I became a victim. By the way being I paid by debit card, she charged me for using my card, almost $6.00 and the healthy gratuity was not deserved. I did return a few weeks later to show her how my hair is so uneven, and she didn't even try to make amends. As I was leaving, she approached me, told me to find another salon and didn't want to get angry, I felt threaten by those very words, and I left. I never ever raised my voice or spoke to her disrespectful, being my hair is a disaster. I put on my coat, shocked and sad she would treat anyone like that. It is unprofessional, cruel and well below my level of tolerance. I will never recommend her to anyone who asks but I will tell my experience of the incident that could have been avoided!
