I called and was told a suit and hat were in stock. The NEXT week I called and was told, " Oh yeah we did not have the hat" But I spoke with someone, who "the manager" Kelly did not know who they were. After confirming, I wanted the suit only. Another couple of days went by and I called AGAIN!! Same "manager " told me she had tried to call me several times ( never used my email and I did NOT have any missed calls from Ca). She told me that she Now has the hat and suit and could ship the same day I ordered, which was Thursday . I received a receipt. On Tuesday, I called AGAIN!! Once again Kelly told me NOW it would be shipped out TODAY!!!!!!!!!! She lied and said she never told me that it would ship on Thursday. I asked if it could be expedited on Thursday and was told it would be an extra $36 dollars. She said I would get it on Saturday but if I did not use expedited, I would get it on Monday or Tuesday. It is Tuesday, no suit or hat and I "amazingly " just received and email with tracking number!! Ridiculous!!!

When you are taking things in ask what would you get for it at a yard sale and what would you have o do to sell on the other platforms and than realize you are helping a local business and local people and look at it in that positive way ..Now as far as a buyer there is no where in this area that offers better prices on current style clothing and accessories and the sales are crazy I just bought so much at their 1 dollar sale and it was not crap. Uptown truly is a great resource and if you look at it as the business it is you will see the value they truly do provide for all.

While they have a large selection of clothing, frequent new inventory, and a staff that has generally been friendly, the overall experience has been disappointing. The biggest issue is the lack of quality control. On my most recent visit, I purchased two shirts and a pair of shorts. One of the shirts had a terrible odor that didnt bother me at first but I noticed it a lot more when I got home. Even after washing it, the smell wouldn't come out. In fact, it became even stronger in the heat - it smelled like a mix of cigarette smoke and mildew. It's so bad it's unwearable. Really wanted to like it too. The shorts were another disappointment. They were sold to me with the security tag still attached. Since I needed them for the weekend, I tried removing the magnetic tag myself rather than making another trip to the store. Unfortunately, the tag broke and ended up damaging the shorts, leaving them unwearable. To make matters worse, the cashier also didn't honor the advertised 30% discount on shorts. I didn't notice until after the transaction, which only added to my frustration. The only reason I'm not giving this store one star is because I did find one shirt that I genuinely liked. Every once in a while, you can come across a good find, and the prices aren't outrageous. However, between the inconsistent quality, items being sold in poor condition, forgotten security tags, and advertised discounts not being honored, I can't recommend shopping here. There are better thrift stores that offer more reliable quality and a better overall experience.

They "REFUSE" to give a customer a refund I purchased a jacket right before the close of business hrs on Saturday, realized when I got home the fit was a little tight, (I'm a women), went back the following day Sunday when their store opened requesting a refund. Store (sales person/manager) Mohamed, who had assisted on Saturday says!! what can I do for you? I requested a refund, this isn't a good fit. Store salesperson/manager Mohamed, who sold me the jacket (said you can find something else. I responded, I see nothing in here I'd like. I reminded Mohamad why I was purchasing the jacket. The jacket was the prefect color for my sisters going home service!! "That's the only reason I purchased a man jacket". Please do not shop with merchants that are money hungry, unless you have money to just give away. Mohammad, didn't want to hear any other options. Such as "Refund half". Something would have been better than giving a customer nothing, especially when there wasn't a store refund policy displayed . I had my receipt with me and there's no print (Exchange Only). It's terrible merchants and managers such as Mohamad steal from customers. Don't let this happen to you. We work to hard for your earnings. Thx U "unhappy customer"

If I could give this location a 0 star rating I most definitely would. I used to follow this…read morebusiness on Instagram and I've seen the nice outfits that they have. I messaged them to inquire about an outfit I was looking to purchase today and they were sold out. So I took it upon myself to actually show up to this location and see what other dresses I could find. I don't even understand how this business is still open I walked into a store that looks really empty and with little options of clothes to choose from. While I was there I got treated rudely by the cashier when I asked if they carried a dress i found in Large. She responded by saying "we only have small" with an attitude so I asked about a dress that was hanging up on the wall that looked a little bigger and she responded saying "it's a small" in a louder voice and still with attitude. So I continued to look through the store and asked if I could use the fitting room and the cashier just yelled at me and said "it's open". I still found nothing to wear. I don't understand how a clothing store can only carry everything in a size SMALL. It's freaking ridiculous. So as soon as I left I messaged their Instagram page to let them know of my bad experience. The reply I got seriously upset me because I was looking for an outfit in LARGE and whoever messaged me back assumed that I was looking for PLUS SIZE clothing which I never mentioned that. I felt so offended by this. I'm never going back and I'll make sure to tell my friends not to go here either.
