Don't even bother making an online appointment. You will be seen based on the time you arrive at the location and check in. I normally like to go to my own doctor. However, as always I get sick over a long holiday weekend so their office is closed. This location had pretty good reviews on another site. However, when I looked at Yelp as I sit waiting, I noticed that they only had a few reviews and they were not very good. Well, it was too late to back out so I sit waiting for a doctor to see me. read more

I wish I could split this review as I have been to this urgent care many times and have always had a positive experience with both the staff and the doctors. In fact they were more than accomodating on several occasions with treating my condition since I couldn't get an appointment with my primary doctor. Again Dr's and staff are great. Now comes the negative part their business/accounting office SUCKS. Prior to seeing the doctor your copay is taken at the reception area. On ALL occasions my co pay was payed prior to me even being called in. I received a bill from a year prior which I had paid. The bill was dated for early 2024 and I went back and noticed that I payed the bill, they had No recollection of receiving payment. This has happended to me TWICE. Fast forward to currently.....received a phone call on a Saturday (9/27/25) from the business office...this is how the conversation went. I answered the phone and she stated her name and asked me my name and date of birth which I gave her she asked me again my name and dob and asked what my address was since she wanted to send me a bill. I asked her what address she had on file and she did not answer me she said I need your address. It was at this point that I indicated to her that I had spoken to a prior representative and had given her an update on my address in August 2025 regarding this mixup on my bill. The prior representative was great and understood, this representative was rude......I proceeded to tell her that I had no intentions of paying this bill on two counts....it had been paid and it had taken them over a year to send me a bill. Take all this into account that after the date of the bill in question I had 3 more visits to this urgent care with no problems regarding my payments or bill expect one other time again which was later resolved due to their untimely updating my account. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GET DOUBLE RECEPITS AS THEIR BUSINESS OFFICE IS LESS THAN PROFESSIONAL. read more

I was really sick. The service was ok and so was the Doctor. It was better than some other urgent cares I been to.

My friend is a veteran and needed to get a covid test since he's been feeling bad for a few days with symptoms that could be the Omicron covid virus. The VA in Slidell told him to go to Rapid Urgent Care to get it. We stood in line for 2 1/2 hours just to sign in. He was given paperwork to take to his car to complete and they would text him when it was his turn to go in. That was another 1 1/2 hours sitting in the car waiting. Finally was put in an exam room and within 10 minutes a nurse came in took vitals and did the nose swab and said the results only take about 15 minutes, but he'd need to wait for the doctor to come in and give the results. Another 25 minute wait. This is the slowest Rapid Urgent Care around! read more

I visited this location yesterday with cold/flu symptoms. Friendly, efficient, attentive to my needs. I see some unfavorable reviews from some time ago, but my visit proved that staff problems have been addressed. Front desk, nurse, and doctor were all delightful profesional people. Yes, I did have to wait my turn, but that is to be expected in any facility that caters to walk-in patients. read more

Poor experience, not recommended. Doctors urgent care is nearby good reviews very crowded so we tried this place and I should have known by the waiting area that care was lacking. There was one other patient aside from me and my child. Office staff very nice and professional the physician very dismissive. read more

Quickest urgent care I've ever been to. Friendly & great manner with kids accepts Medicaid

Complete lack of respect. Doctor cared more about watching the saints game then spending time with patient. Watched game as I came in. WaitEd then he spent around 10 seconds max with me and spoke fast then walked out. When I walked out the room. Still parked in front of his computer screen watching football. read more

Do not go here! If I could give it 0 stars I would. The doctor I seen was absolutely horrible. He was extremely rude and he rushed the visit. My son needed steroids and an antibiotic. He sent the nurse in to administer the steroids WITHOUT checking his weight so he gave him the wrong dose. When I left the room to ask him questions about the dosages for the steroids and the antibiotic he became very upset and stated, "are you questioning me?" To which I replied yes. This is about my son I want to make sure he receives the correct dosage. So then he pulled out a sliding scale dosage chart. He pointed to what he was supposed to receive and all I did was ask why he was getting this dose and not the other one because his weight was closer to a higher dose than the lower. He responds to me by saying "Go to your pediatrician" over and over. Then tells me to "leave and not come back" in a raised voice! So I go to get my stuff out of the room, and my mother was with me so I have a witness, as I'm walking out he yells so EVERYONE can hear to "never come back." Absolutely horrible experience. I have never had a doctor act this way. I was a scared mother. My little boy was having trouble breathing and the doctor admitted to giving him the wrong dose so I asked multiple questions. Please DO NOT go to this place. I'm addition he was supposed to call in steroids for my sons breathing and he DIDNT. So I was a nervous wreck all night. I don't remember his name but he was short with blond ish hair and he wore glasses. Don't bring your kids here. read more

Dr. Hughes is fantastic- thorough, professional, great bedside manner and extremely timely. Made me love coming here. Don't even CONSIDER seeing Dr. Cory Roberts- literally leave if he enters the room. Unhelpful, didn't answer questions, ignored my main complaints and reported contagious environment to not test me for any infections and send me out the door with what I could've bought over the counter (not even telling me what was in it when I asked). Honestly I can hear my own bronchitis without a stethoscope, as well as his BS. He didn't place the stethoscope correctly on either his ears or the quadrants to check my lungs. I'd literally rather have someone been wearing his class ring to inspire more confidence in me. read more

This place is as nice as the Covington and Mandeville locations. They also have easy access to my files from when I was seen in Mandeville. Of course they still are in network with my insurance so payment was easy. Again, the office is incredibly clean and the staff and Doctor are great. I love this place and recommend it to everyone I know. read more

Horrible service! I called about insurance card being accepted through the app and they assured that will work. Upon arrival I confirm and she says they don't accept it. I try to show her and she doesn't even bother looking just shoos me away! Also upon arrival I was checking in through the kiosk and she calls me over for information and 3 other people check in and she says ohh don't forget to check in... really?? read more

Thank you for being open on a holiday. I'm visiting from out of town so was worried about getting care for my daughter. You guys were open, took my insurance, and was able to see her the same morning. I am very thankful for your accommodating staff. She was feverish so a staff member gave me some Motrin to help her. There is a wait but I expected that because the wait room was completely full. All my questions were answered without any attitude and we had our prescription and were on our way from check-in to check-out in 2 hours. read more

Really don't have anything good to say about this facility. They are not friendly and do a poor job of providing care. Staff act like they're a bunch of stepford wives robots. At the very least, they do not appear competent, not even the doctor. Went here due to an accelerated heartbeat and pain in my left shoulder. They told me I was having a heart attack and to go to the er. Really? How about calling 911? I'm supposed to drive to the er while having a heat attack? Obviously they didn't really think I was having a heart attack and I wasn't but nevertheless they did nothing for me and took my money and shooed me away. Turns out it was a shoulder injury and the increased heart rate was due to pain and anxiety. I even reported to them that I had been lifting weights recently but they appear to have just treated me like I was looking for drugs. Now I realize that If they had wanted to be helpful then they would've given me a referral to an orthopedic. Don't go here. I've heard good things about Dr. E at Doctors Urgent Care. Hope that helps. read more

Been several times over the years. Have been mostly satisfied with the results. They have treated me for many things (none of which they diagnosed as allergies). I have only had positive experiences. The only negative is the wait time but that's not technically their fault. It's based on how many ppl show up on a given day. Hope this helps. read more

This place is the worst example of medical malpractice I have ever seen. For the love of God, DO NOT GO HERE!!! You will be diagnosed as having allergies regardless of what is really wrong with you. Please do go see Dr. Gruetzke at the Mandeville Rapid Urgent Care Clinic. He is competent and qualified and you will not regret your decision. DO NOT GO TO THE SLIDELL CLINIC!!! I am currently looking into filing a complaint with the medical board for this particular clinic. read more

This place inflates your bills. I took my son here for a simple procedure. I was charged for a level 4 office visit when at most it was a level 2. The Doctor DID NOT perform what the medical record says he did. He LIED. He is a Fraud wasting out insurance dollars so he can get a higher payment. read more

Went in for testing because I had been sick and was exposed to someone with COVID-19. The sanitation for safety of the staff and clients being seeing was a serious disaster. No hand sanitizer at the counter along with placement of pens being used over by those coming in sick and touched by the medical assistance at the front. The physician who treated me appeared to be overwhelmed and scared of (me) the patient. Did not bother to check me out. But asked why was in and informed me that I was positive for the virus. Did not give me anything for my cough as I was congested . I had to ask for medication one in which he gave me in paper form to go the pharmacy that he could have e-proscribed. I also asked for cough medication he assumed I was drug seeking . Had he looked in my chart he would have seen that I get medication that he thought I was seeking . For a high . I needed cough syrup because over the counter medication wasn't working along with having issues swollen the pill form. As I spoke with another client who was prescribed medication for a cold . It's up to the physician and he chose not to treat me as a patient yet someone who was drug seeking and had a contagious disease that he went to school for to treat those whom couldn't care for themselves beyond wisdom and years of knowledge and without doctrine education and experience in which he posses while ensuring he was safe from catching the Virus himself. This is the second experience that I have had with Rapid Urgent Care. My prayer is that they would make necessary corrections . Rapid Urgent Care once deserved a 5 star cause they were exceptional as I felt very disappointed with my encounter . And had to visit another Urgent Care where I was treated with Care! read more

I would highly recommend Rapid Urgent Care. I scheduled an appointment online and was in and out of there within 30 minutes. Doctor Hughes was great! read more

I absolutely love this urgent care! Not only can you schedule your appointment online, but I was in and out within 30 minutes! I love that they treat you with importance instead of acting like you're just another number in line. The staff is so sweet and caring, and thry take the time to ensure that you are cared for properly! Not only did they all tell me they hoped I felt better soon, but they even called me the next day to ask how I was doing and make sure the medicine prescribed was working as it should. This is hands down the best urgent care facility I have ever visited, and I will definitely be recommending it to all of my friends and family. read more
