We informed Guillot we suspected she had swimmers ear on top of the reason for the visit. When he jammed the otoscope into my kid's ear so hard it hurt them so bad they were scared to death of him. He stormed out the room giving us a total of 5 minutes of Doctor time. He said he couldn't deal with it and left. It turns out my baby was losing their hearing and is now profoundly hard of hearing. She will never regain the hearing. If it was auto immune an injection of steroids could have saved some of it. Word through the grapevine is that he had a surgery that did not go well that morning so he took it out on patients. A true professional.

Scheduling was a breeze, his nurse Amber thoroughly took my vitals and history and post appointment, I was referred to get labs at the St Tammany outpatient center which was also a very quick and easy experience.

Being a nurse, I was aware of Dr. Graves reputation for being a great diagnostician. My brother had…read more6 or 7 BP pills he took. His pressure remained sky high (diastolic over 120 all the time). He slept 20-22 hours a day. Got up to use the bathroom and grab a bite, then zonked out again. No energy. He had congestive heart failure, cardiomyopathy and cardiomegaly. He was only in his 40's! He lived with me and I felt like he was a dead man walking. I asked Dr. Christy if she could see him. That was about 8 years ago. He still has those conditions and he's diabetic now, but she turned his life around. First a lot of tests, then med changes. He actually has a life now. He can drive, go to the grocery, the movies, take vacation with us. He was really given a new lease on life. It's like you have high BP and the doctor gives you BP pills. You also have kidney issues, so more pills for that. However, Dr. Christy wanted to determine if his pressure was high because his kidneys were failing or were his kidneys failing because his pressure was high. I'd say it was maybe 5 or 6 months of tests and medication tweaks and changes and he started being able to live again. She absolutely rocks. I would say I'm her number one fan, but I know too many people that claim they are her number one fan. She's just a good, old-fashioned common sense doctor.
