---------------------DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!---------------
This company pads the bill for its work, claiming they did things they did not do. This results in unnecessary, unfair, and inflated costs to its customers!!
In the past, when a recovery/restoration vendor dealt directly with an insurance company to get its money, the insurance company suffered the consequences of this bill inflation (a big reason why insurance companies fled Florida was because of such shenanigans) without the consumer even knowing about it (likely the reason for this company's 5.0 rating). Now, insurance companies pay the policyholder after inspecting the actual work the vendor does. So now, any attempted bill padding is now at the consumer's expense, not the insurance companies'!
This company padded less than $2,000 of actual work, claiming that they had done more than $5,000 worth of work on a minor air conditioning leak in a closet. They not only padded the bill but unnecessarily, and seemingly deliberately, ruined a small section of our bedroom carpet (cut up a small section of the bedroom carpet that wasn't ruined by the leak in the closet) so that we would need to replace the entire carpet in the bedroom. During the work, when we loudly complained that no good reason existed that this section of bedroom carpet needed to be cut and removed, one of their employees did not deny this conclusion but told us that he would have gotten in big trouble with his boss if he hadn't made that unneeded cut and that the company didn't do jobs under $5,000.
Thus, the total bill conveniently came to just over $5,000, despite the insurance inspector's conclusion that they only did about $1,900 worth of work. Then the company sent a threatening letter for us to pay more than $3,000 for work that was never done. So.....
