I highly recommend Universal Tile for all of your tile and grout cleaning and grout color sealing needs. I've used their services in the past and will absolutely continue to do so in the future. Daphne is a pleasure to work with, and Juan is an exceptional technician. He actually performed my original service with Universal 10 years ago! This time, he was joined by his partner Jonathan, who also did an outstanding job. They are extremely careful when moving furniture and truly meticulous with every detail. Customer satisfaction is clearly a top priority with Juan and Jonathan Cleaning and restoring your tile floors is far more cost-effective than replacing them, yet it leaves your home feeling brand new. Their pricing is honest, their service is professional, and they are prompt and reliable. read more

Once again, this company comes through with flying colors! I've used other companies in this home that I've lived in for 43 years. None really can compare to how this company does business! The ease of making appointment, the professionalism and the courtesy that they extend to their customers is beyond reproach. Their technicians have been with them for so many years in the same technicians come to my house each time! Every time they leave, the tile looks like new and holds up for a long time. Unfortunately, we had to have a lot of work done in our house, dealing with pipes under theslab, insulation in the attic painting, and despite our best efforts, the grout got very dirty. They just left and it looks like brand, new grout and tile once again! Definitely a quality company with quality people. I recommended them to many friends and family members. read more

From beginning to end my experience was excellent. Howard came to give me an estimate. He was extremely helpful by giving me a basic idea what it would cost to do the job properly. Just cleaning would not do the job properly as the bathroom tile was on the older side and needed grout repair. The estimate was emailed and seemed to be reasonable so we set a date. I received a text to inform me Juan, their repair man was on his way. He arrived shortly after and began to transform my old, tired bathroom into a bright beautiful room! Thanks for the wonderful job. I would highly recommend this company. read more

They did a good job on our house. They painted and sealed our grout. Their team of Christian and carlito did a great job and they are nice soft spoken people. Their floor cleaner smells great too. Their office team tends to talk over you and get over excited and not listen when it would just be easier to let the customer speak first so they can better understand and address any issues. But the great service team makes up for it. read more

Amazing company. We had some tile tenting after a cold snap. We had about 10 tiles coming up. We called and spoke with Daphna who had her installer Howard call us for a visit and quote. Howard was able to see us the same day. He was courteous and provided us a quote that was several hundred less than we received from other vendors. The installer Carlos arrived early and could not have been better. He was very knowledgeable and really went above and beyond. He worked quickly and cleanly and always kept us up to date. Could not recommend this company with more enthusiasm. While we hope to never need their services again, we wouldn't hesitate to use them. read more

These guys were great from the initial quote from Howard to the work being completed by Juan. Howard came out quickly to provide me a quote and explained what could be done to regrout my shower. He provided me a quote the same day. Juan came out to complete the work of regrouting my shower and I cannot say enough about the quality of the work he did. He explained what could be done and we agreed on sanded grout for the shower pan and regular grout for the rest of the shower. He spent an entire morning removing the old grout and making sure any water that had gotten behind the tiles was completely out before applying the new grout. He used a vacuum to suck up the water and also a fan to make sure everything was completely dry before he left. The shower looks better than when it was originally done. The quality of work shows and I am very grateful for the extra time Juan took to make sure the work was done right! read more

Contacted Universal to come out and give us an estimate for some tile repair and re grout the shower. Very responsive, was able to come out to Boca the next day. Red flags started when talking with Howard on the phone. Guy would not let me talk, repeatedly cut me off to the point where I just had to wait for him to finish, then I could talk only to be cutoff again. Next day Howard showed up, on time. Went into the shower to check the stability of the wall where our tile was by banging on it, very hard. Not a problem in it self, I did ask him to stop as I really felt more damage was going to take place. We still need to use that shower so more damage happening during an estimate is not ok. He flipped a switch and started yelling at me to not yell at him. Was not yelling, but was talking louder because he was banging on the wall very loudly... He threatened to leave, at which point I just said have a great day. I had to ask him to leave multiple times, which he finally did. He was clearly pissed off, maybe he was just having a bad day, happens to us all. Kicker is I was standing at the window watching him leave, he could see I was watching and as he pulled away decided to flip me the bird. Really, grow up your like 65 or something? Ultimately after that display I know I made the right choice not having this company do any work. Would not recommend! read more

We used Universal Tile Restoration to repair loose tiles and replace a couple. Howard came out and checked tiles thoroughly in order to give us a price. Daphne is the owner and was very pleasant on the phone. Carlos has been with the company for 14 years and I felt very comfortable with his skills. Christian helped Carlos. Both men were very pleasant and Carlos will make you laugh. :) Howard told us they stand by their work and they have been in the business for many years. Carlos told us that some of the tiles did not need to be replaced, so the owner adjusted the price accordingly. Thank you!! read more

I want to thank Universal Tile Restoration for repairing the grout between my tiles in my master bathroom and sealing the tiles to the floor, which is something I didn't realize was the issue until my initial call with Daphna. The next day, Howard came out to assess the situation and quote me on the work, then less than a week later, Carlos and Chris came and took less than two hours to fix the issue. Now, my tile looks amazing, the grout has been repaired, and I can comfortably walk in my master bathroom. I would highly recommend them for any tile repair needs you may have! read more

Amazing customer service from start to finish! Howard came out to give a quote and I couldn't believe how honest he was. I thought all my floors needed to be cleaned and polished but he said most didn't need to be done at all! Very rare to have such an honest vendor. Juan made the showers look new. I couldn't ask for a more honest, reasonably priced, professional, and nice vendor. I highly recommend them! read more

Really positive experience and we didn't even do business together. Howard came out to the house to provide a quote on three different questions we had around work in two bathrooms and the pool area. He was on time (early actually and called ahead and asked if that was okay), came in with everything he needed, and most important of all, he knows his profession extremely well and didn't try to sell us on anything. In fact, the reason we ended up not doing business together is because he said for what we wanted we would end up calling back again and again due to the water and where certain titles sit. It's hard to find high quality, professional trades that also shoot you straight, so I'm pleased here. Also interacted with Daphna over the phone and she was very helpful and professional. read more

I hired Universal Tile Restoration to repair some broken tiles in my condo. The company was highly recommended, and I completely agree. They are a top notch company. I have used or recommended Universal Tile to clean and re-grout at least 10 times for various properties and, 100% of the time, I am super amazed at the before and after results. They are not cheap, about $800 or so for a 1,000 sq ft property, but WOW the results are incredible. I worked with an investor for a 2/2 rental property where the tile looked fine, but the grout was so dirty it looked black from bad tenants who had dogs that must have leaked on the floor dozens of times. Universal Tile came out to save the day and was there from 9am-4pm cleaning the tile floors, grout, and then repainted the grout a lighter color color to match the tile so that it almost looks grout free now and made a super dramatic improvement in the appearance of the property. In fact, the tile floors look so good now (and smells good too), that you would think it is a brand new $10,000 tiled floor property if you did not know any better. I am super impressed with Universal Tile and highly recommend them if your tile floors are looking a little shabby. read more

This company must be desperate. They sent some guy named Howard out to quote a pretty good sized job. Long story short...I could not get a word or a question in edgewise. This guy didn't stop talking (in a raised voice mind you) the whole time he was in my home. When he finally gave me the estimate, I must have looked surprised as it was just about double 2 others I had gotten. He got indignant to the point of NUTS, screamed at me and just walked out. This is one scary person that should never be allowed to go out on estimates. Needless to say I didn't hire this company. Oh yes...on his way out to his car, he purposefully walked through my flower beds and crunched up the estimate leaving it in my bushes. VERY PROFESSIONAL ! read more

These guys have been around since the 80s and with the quality of their work hope they are around for many more years to come. Almost every tile in my condo's main living spaces needed resealed. They also replaced 3 cracked tiles, painted and resealed all grout lines, and re-caulked along all the base boards. Excellent work all around and finished in 2 and a half days. I recently purchased a condo in Boca Raton that has marble floors. The floors looked pretty good when I purchased but after moving in I noticed that many tiles were loose and would crunch under my feet. I did some reading and I found my miracle in Universal Tile Restoration, Inc. in Deerfield Beach. They "injected" under the loose marble tiles with a special machine and repaired the cracks. They re-grouted as necessary. The floors are now rock solid. After they polished the floors I could not believe how beautiful my floors could be! The staff and workers are friendly and really know what they are doing. Compared to replacing the floors, this service was very reasonably priced. So glad I found them... read more

My tile floors popped up during a cold snap...apparently that's a thing in Florida. Howard came out on a Sunday morning, cut a line so the floor would level out so my blind, senior dog wouldn't get hurt. Monday morning, Dafna called me and scheduled the repair for later in the week. The crew that came out was very helpful and knew exactly what they were doing. Highly recommend Universal Tile. Would give 10 stars if it was possible! read more

I live in Boca Raton. They came into my sister's bathroom to clean all tiles on October 29th. My sister came home in early November and was shocked to see that the shower floor was still black around the drain and ultimately after using it for a while she saw other black spots coming up. We called Universal and sent Howard out who quickly told me that the contract I signed did not guarantee it would be perfect. He was very rude and we sent him out of the house. I paid $925 for this service. The guy was here for about 2 hours, maybe. I then called Groutsmith who redid the entire job for less than $500 and months later it's still find and he said we should not have to clean it again for 5 plus years. Plus he worked on her tile for 4 plus hours. Universal is worsthless and charged almost $1000 for a job that was not worth $100! Boca Raton read more
