They are a full construction company that have been around for over 20 years... So they were able to work from the beginning of a water damage loss to the end by putting it all back... Constantly communicating and extremely courteous... Bearing in mind the way things are nowadays they still make the greatest effort to get things done! We all know that dealing with insurance companies and the lack of supply for materials it's been very difficult... I had water damage in my home. I signed on with them because I trusted they would do what they claimed that they would, They told me they would start working right away with my situation.They said the job should not take more than 4 months maybe a little longer to complete. I had gotten very ill from the mold in my condo. They never applied for permits to do any work for 4 months. They are dishonest about everything. They claim to have professionals employed. Not true at all. They sub-contract the work out to people who are not good workers. Their pricing for their products are way overboard. It took over a year to do work which is still as of today not finished. They are totally dishonest and I would never recommend this company to anyone. 2022 I contacted this company to address a mold issue inside my home as a result of AC leak. The were very professional. But the mistake I made was not calling my insurance company first. They told me that they will handle everything including contact with my insurance company. BIG MISTAKE I signed contract with them. My insurance company subsequently called me and sent someone over who assessed the damage - which was not major. They then sent the estimate Restoration Expert sent them, which in my opinion was excessive, my insurance company also included the name of a company and their estimate. That company's estimate was much less. When I reviewed Restoration Expert estimate my gut said the estimate was very padded. Since I had already signed their contract, I thought I had to stay with them. They came in packed up my closet etc etc and then the demolition team came in, ready to take my kitchen apart, including taking out my appliances. I stopped them at that point and suggested that they first remove a portion of the wall and see if the mold had spread to that area before demolishing my kitchen. So they did and found no evidence of mold. However, before I stopped them, they had already removed my dish washer, and garbage disposal. I had to replace the garbage disposal and they were unable to position the dishwasher properly. Claiming the dishwasher was too old. Keep in mind that they had billed my insurance company for the demolishing and restoration of my kitchen. They did a great job on the restoration and their workers were very professional. HOWEVER, AFTER THE WORK WAS DONE MY INSURANCE COMPANY CANCELLED MY POLICY AND I AM NOW LOOKING FOR NEW INSURANCE WHICH I AM TOLD WILL COST MORE THAN DOUBLE THAN WHAT I WAS PAYING. The person my family dealt with was Ralph. My parents did not want o profit from the work, they actually were appalled at what your company submitted needed to be done and wanted less work to be performed and less cost to the insurance company but had no recourse. And I find it amazing that it has taken over 18 months for your company to respond to what was posted and in going back out to Yelp, I see others have since posted similar issues or have expressed dissatisfaction. Family and I are very disappointed with Restoration Experts. They took 8 months to complete a small bathroom repair and reconstruction and charged way more than was projected. After everything was done, they charged privately to us 3,000 more and for reasons that were not on the original invoice. The sliding door to the bathroom was put wrong and is scratching the door, they put the wrong wall and had to change it out to durarock, they ruined our alarm system while reconstructing so we had safety issues during the whole time. They told us that they couldn't work on ours because hey had been called to other projects and neglected ours. Once everything was done the overall product came out pretty but will never use them since they took so long to repair a small bathroom and for those details that have been overlooked and of course all the attitude they gave us throughout the project. read more

We used Restoration Xperts to take care of the mold problem that we had in a home that we rent out. It took this company over three months to finish the work. We feel that they were not honest with us upfront about what would be done and the individual charges. Make sure you get an itemized list of what will be done before you hire them or sign any contract. They also did a bit of damage to things in the home that they needed to repair and it took them a long time to resolve their mistakes. Also make sure that your insurance covers mold. They assured us that our insurance would cover some of the damages but they did not cover one penny. So do not believe them when they tell you that they will get it covered unless you do indeed have mold coverage. To be fair I do believe they did a good job in getting rid of the mold. But as far as restoration work I think you would be better off subcontracting it out to different people or perhaps doing it your self. We paid $25,000.00 to them for this job. We would not recommend that you use this company. read more
