We had a serious mold problem at our condominium, from a cracked and leaking pipe in the wall. The condo association fixed the pipe but left us with a moldy wall and a major hole. Mike came out promptly, helped us understand our various options, and took care of the mold remediation in a completely professional manner. He even recommended a dry wall installer (who has also done a good job) to patch and paint the wall. We live out of state, so all this work was done without us being on site, which requires even more trust and responsibility for the contractor. I had a very large cleaned and repaired at their facility several years ago. It came back fine. It was great. I just called there to find out about the procedure for cleaning the same rug since I no longer live in the area. The staff must have changed since that time. I feel like I was dealing with some of the stupidest people on the planet who did not listen let alone have any comprehension skills. Scream. I just hung up the phone. Amazing & timely service at an incredibly reasonable price. A little background: I have two Golden Retriever puppies who are now 6 months old. They found a spot on the carpet that they "claimed" for their bathroom. It got so bad over the past two months that I didn't think the carpet could be saved, especially considering the smell. Technician Edwin was great and professional. As far as Michael, completely unprofessional. The technician had an issue with the four square device they were using to complete the credit card transaction. On my end, the credit card company confirmed that the transaction was approved via My Amex and Apple wallet app. On their end they didn't receive verification via square pay. This resulted in a huge back and forth after Michael wanted to "run my card again" after I already received confirmation that the transaction went through. I would not recommend this company based completely on incompetency. I had used them before this happened and will never use them again because of it. read more

I walk into my guest bedroom to find our dog had a major blowout accident, all over the carpeted floors. After our clean up there were still stains and an odor. We worked with Dry Concepts when we found some mold in our kitchen. I cannot say enough how happy I am with their service. I got a couple different quotes from other companies, and they were the most reasonable (which doesn't always mean they'll be the best!), but they definitely turned out to be the best. The communicated via email, text, and phone and answered all my questions. They worked fast and cleaned up after themselves. Very good company, professional and respectful technicians! Responsive, quick appointments, I've even had same day service. Technicians are hard working and respectful, professional. Fast drying service! Only suggestion for them, is flexibility with pricing - they have a "minimum" service charge, so if you only need carpet for one room cleaned, you still have to pay the minimum (which is a two-room charge). And they won't accept a discount coupon on the minimum charge. This is the only bad thing about their pricing - hope they change that. read more

This is a real bait-and-switch company!! We had a written quote from them at $235 for our 11 office chairs and arranged the service. When the techs arrived to do the work, they informed us $235 is their minimum for any job and that cost would not cover 11 chairs of any type. The new estimate was now $150 more than the written quote and the new estimate was anyway higher than their competitors quoted us for the same job. We showed them the door! read more

I called to get an estimate to clean three pairs of draperies. The tech came out and gave me an estimate. It seemed high, so I began a "quest" to price out new draperies. The quest revealed how expensive new drapes were going to cost. I called Dry Concepts to come and pick up the drapes for cleaning. I explained that I am building a new house and I would need them to be stored until the new house would be completed in 4 to 5 months. He told me that would not be a problem as there was "plenty of space at his facility." Of course, he never confirmed that with the "office" or the owner. After several "go arounds with the "office" I had until the end of June. Due to other commitments of theirs and mine we agreed on July 9th. I am living in a rental house surrounded by boxes and no place or way to inspect the drapes for quality of the cleaning or for any damage to the drapes. The original estimate including rehanging the drapes which is not going to happen until the completion of the new house. Out of the original $760.80, he deducted only $96.00 for the rehanging which is, of course, the most labor intensive part of draperies. I called the office and said that was inadequate and they said that they would have to review it and get back to me. The tech called the owner of the company Michael Jatoft. I reviewed the circumstance with him and told me what I had to pay I said $96.00 was not enough, and was deducting $125.00, "take it or leave it." He told me "don't ever use our services again." Not only will I never use them again, but I am telling you flat out DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

This is the worst company to do business with. They quoted me one price over the phone and then when they got there they wanted me to pay $75 more. They were also 2 HOURS LATE!! I guess a lot has happened since the last review. My experience was different. I confirmed the day before - I was to be their first appointment (I had a meeting that morning I could not miss). They showed up at 10:00 am and apologized. Apparently their staff meeting was more important than me. Dependability counts too, and they failed the test. I contacted Dry Concepts on July 1 at the beginning of the 4th of July weekend. I live out of state and needed to deal with a water damage issue at my mother's condo in Florida. We were selling the condo within weeks and I needed to get this issue resolved quickly.I never expected to get such wonderful help, let alone on a holiday weekend I was so fortunate to reach Mike. He was professional and thorough and I immediately knew that things were going to be handled and I was no longer worried. He kept in constant contact with me via messages and phone calls and let me know every step of the way what was taking place. The damage was dealt with quickly and I was able to see pictures of what was being done as things progressed. They also dealt with the insurance company and got them all the information they needed to process the claim. I feel lucky to have reached Mike and Dry Concepts as this could have been a nightmare but they made it as easy as possible. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

I called for an appt on Thursday. They couldn't come out until the following Monday. Service Rep asked type, size and date of stain and gave me a quote. After waiting 4 days waiting on them to come out, the technician said it would be an additional $150 to remove stain given it's type, size and date. Ludicrous!! They want me spend $250 to "possibly" clean a stain on a carpet that cost $300. Had they been up front with me on Thursday, I wouldn't have wasted any additional time. Their bad business practice of deceiving customers has cost me four extra days of a stain and more than likely a new carpet. I will not use them or recommend them again! read more

I have been a customer of Dry Concepts for over 30 years and I have been happy with their service untill today. Last week I made an apointment to have my 91 year old father's carpets cleaned. We schduled the appointment for today between 11:00 and 1:00. Yesterday Maya from the office called me to confirm the appointment and I asked her if they could call me a half an hour before they were arriving so that I could drive over there to be with my father during the cleaning. Maya called me at 11:40 today and said the technician would be there in 30 minutes. I arrived at my fathers condo at 12:20 and the technician had already left. He told my father that they carpets were stained and he didn't think he could get all the stains out. He measured the rooms wrote out an estimate and left. When I got there and heard what happened I quickly called the office and told the person on the other end what had happened, and said to her please call him and tell him to turn around and come right back She said let me check this out and I will call you right back. Twenty minutes later still no call back so I called there again and I was told that maybe they could get someone back later in the day to clean the carpets. That was not acceptable to me because I took off work to be there and I wouldn't be able to get back later in the day. When I scheduled the appointment I told them that the carpets had quite a few of stains, and she said that they may not all come out. I said that I understand and I know that they will do the best that they could. Needless to say I am very very upset with the horible service from Dry Concepts. I asked if I could speak with a manager and was told that someone would call me before the end of the day....no one ever did! I just want to know why the technician left without cleaning the carpets.... I was given an estimate over the phone so I knew approximately what the cost would be. The price the technician left my father was more but that wasn't a problem so why didn't he clean the carpets!!!! The worst part about this horible Dry Concepts experience is that I don't think I can ever use them or recommend them ever again. read more
