Tony promptly provided several options for resolving the issue. He ordered the necessary part, and while waiting for his colleague to deliver it, he removed the old power-assist unit. This was a smart use of time since he was then able to simply install the new unit when the part arrived. Overall, Tony worked efficiently, professionally, and cleanly. I would definitely call Tony and Jon the Plumber again for any future plumbing repairs. I highly recommend them!

The other two were within $50 of each other. Seemed much more concerned about replacing our water heater, since that's a big ticket item. I felt they were trying to take advantage of my father because he has dementia. When I called to address what I considered an unfair business practice, I was told on the phone "it's our job to upsell." Wow. Even had the nerve to call me up and harass me about getting a new heat water heater... years after I got my shower controls replaced by another plumber!!! Don't do business with these people.

On Tuesday, August 4th, I awoke to significant flooding in my closet caused by a slab leak. I immediately began contacting plumbing companies and ultimately reached Main Line Plumbing, who arrived within a couple of hours. At that point, the service appeared prompt and satisfactory. Shortly thereafter, I received an emailed estimate for $5,200, followed by a call from an office representative named Kayla, requesting that I sign the estimate to approve the work. I did so, and she informed me that a 50% deposit was required before they could begin. I submitted the deposit, only to be notified shortly afterward that the earliest available appointment would be Friday, two days later. Given the active leak and ongoing damage, I expressed my concern and reminded her that the technician had indicated he would request priority scheduling. Despite this, Kayla stated that Friday was the only available opening. Due to the urgency of the situation, I requested that the job be canceled and my deposit refunded. She responded that she would need to inform the owner and refused to connect me directly to him. During subsequent calls, she repeatedly stated that she had notified the owner but continued to refuse to transfer my call. Several days later, Kayla informed me that the refund would be issued and would take 3-5 business days to appear on my account. It has now been nearly 10 days, and no refund has been received. As a result, I contacted my bank and initiated a dispute of the charge. This experience raises serious concerns regarding the company's customer service, professionalism, and integrity. I strongly advise others to exercise caution when considering this business. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Main Line Plumbing and Electrical and would assign them a firm thumbs down.

The…read moretechnicians were always on time and courteous and our air conditioners generally ran and performed well. Then the compressor in one of our 9-year-old condensers failed. Two technicians from other companies noticed the condensation bulb in the air handler was removed and said that was a big no-no that could have contributed to the unit failing. (I'm not saying it did since there's no way to know but it was certainly disturbing to hear that). When I asked SFD about this, they they either never noticed it or just missed it and that it wasn't that big of a deal. That was a little disappointing to hear because we paid hundreds of dollars for their bi-annual maintenance plan and they had just inspected the units although this time they sent a less experienced tech. They also gave us conflicting information about whether the other (working) air handler needed to be cleaned or not. I liked these guys a lot and trusted them but ultimately there were too many red flags and so they lost our business.
