We were having trouble with the water heater and as I explain the problem to the technician he Kindly pointed out that our water heater is still pretty new and may be under warranty. I would have never known if it wasn't for this kind honest company. Thank You!!!

Juan from O Plumbing Design is as shady as they come. I had Juan lift and re-route a plumbing line…read moreback to the street main at my residence. He or his crew busted one of my front yard sprinkler lines in the process without repairing it. I had to call him more than 5 times for him to eventually come out and repair it. It would have been an easy fix for myself, but out of principle he needed to repair what he had broken. This process took over two weeks for him to rectify. Absolutely ridiculous. I obviously didn't learn my lesson the first time because I called him to come out to fix the water pressure to my shower head on a different occassion. He came out and started the job. He then diagnosed the problem to be a faulty valve cartridge which he said he couldn't get from home depot or his usual material suppliers. Juan, instead recommended changing out all the hardware and to trash my current expensive hardware that retails for over $200 vs. just finding the correct cartridge. He then left me with a leaky tub spout in the process which was more than a drip, but a consistent small stream. I had called him on at least 3 different occasions to fix the problem with no call back. I had to research and call the manufacturer who sent me two free cartridges which I installed myself. I still have not heard from the bum. It's a lesson to get at least 3 quotes, if not 5, from recommended plumbers and not to give more than a 10% deposit. I personally would rather never give a deposit (supposedly for materials) again until the work is completed to my satisfaction. Needless to say I would not recommend Juan and O Plumbing Designs for your plumbing needs.

If you need an electrician, Eric is your guy! Prior to hiring Eric, I asked 8 electricians for a…read morequote. Of those 8, only 6 responded and 4 actually showed. I walked them through the work and in turn all 4 broke it down for me. They all submitted their quotes, but it was Eric's which was by far the lowest bid. At first I was hesitant since his bid was off by a whole lot. However, he was the one who made me feel most comfortable with the explanation and his bid was the most professional (returned the same day within a few hours, in email/word format, follow up call to assure we received it and to assure it was clear and concise, but also each job had a break down of cost!). I decided to take a chance, though I didn't believe I was taking a risk since I was made to feel comfortable from the get go. I hire him on, he begins work a couple days later and just like that, the work was done! Eric is a very efficient worker, wasted no time in reassuring me where everything was going and if anything came up he would make sure I was involved. If you're looking for an electrician, might I recommend to you that you include Eric in your bids for estimates. It'll save you lots of time, energy and some good money! People always say, you get what you pay for when you go with the cheapest bid, but in this case not only did I get everything that I wanted but so much more at the best price hands down! Here is a list of the work he performed: 1. He replaced and centered my dining room light fixture 2. He added a remote controlled ceiling fan/light fixture to our living room that had no existing fixture or wiring for that matter 3. He installed a 240v outlet for an appliance 4. He installed/relocated a power outlet for a wall mounted tv and several appliances 5. He inspected/replaced and installed a whole new sensor motion light for my front door, back door and garage which didn't have one before. 6. He did all this with minimal opening to our walls which we will benefit from in not having to spend so much to repair the openings. Thanks again Eric! We will be calling you again for our next projects!

So about a week ago we began the task checking this off our list of getting the electrical work done. We contacted one electrician, he responded back but never followed up with a time he could come out. Eric responded promptly and we made an appointment for him to come out. On our appointment date he showed up on time was professional and knocked the work out in under an hour. If you're looking for a great electrician Avila's Electric will take care of you.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They are the most important thing to have after a…read moredisaster of any kind. Flood, fire, water damage, anything. I cannot exaggerate the importance of having this company be in charge of restoration. In our case, it was mud. A major debris flow in Montecito California. We were at ground zero. We had 3 feet of mud and trees, boulders, parts of houses, and unimaginable damage to our property. Our guest house and garage had 3 feet of mud. Miraculously, our house was spared from having mud inside. They arrived and started immediately. The mud removal took two months. They carefully spared what landscaping was left, they protected and uncovered our beautiful trees, and preserved the vines on our house. They photographed every single article in our guest house and garage, and listed them carefully. Those things were destroyed; but because of their photographs we were able to list them and find replacements. Our insurance company trusted Accurate and sent us the replacement value of all the items. Then, every single thing in our house had to be removed, cleaned and replaced exactly where it was. They took detailed pictures of everything in our house and I mean EVERYTHING. All of my possessions are fragile, one-of-a-kind antiques and each has a story. Thousands of pictures were taken throughout my house, then each piece was carefully cleaned, packed and taken into storage for months. A few months later, I was blown away upon entering my home to move back in and saw every item back in the correct place. That is a huge job for anyone and Accurate exceeded our expectations in every way. My husband and I will always be beyond grateful for this company making a nightmare turn into happy ending. We are back in our house, the landscaping has matured in just a year. It looks like nothing happened. There is no question that this company is the best in the business. Many of our friends in Montecito were in the same situation we were and had a vastly different experience.
