As I entered, I noticed the waiting room was very bright and clean…read more I went to the window and was quickly checked in, then given some paperwork to fill out before I was called back. As I sat down, waiting to be called back, I noticed an underwater beach scene playing on the television. The water was clear and you could see fish. This is the closest to snorkeling that I will come. It was very pleasant imagery with soft ocean sounds. So soothing to the eyes and ears. The sound was broken by my name being called to go back. I went to the back and was asked my name and birthdate as well as a series of body medal related questions. I was given a room to change in as well as a key to lock the door. After I put on my gown it was off to the X-ray room where I was given earplugs and instructed to lay on my back on a table. A pillow was placed under my legs and what felt like a head brace was placed on my head to keep my head still. I was then inserted into what looked like a giant white tube. The test lasted about 45 minutes. While I was in the tube I heard a series of banging noises as well as what seemed like energy passing around me. After the test was done I changed my clothes and went back to the waiting room to pay my co-pay as well as receive my disc and receipt. The staff was really nice and informative. I recommend this location and would go back if I needed to.

She called my doctor's office, got the change, and they took me right away... the lady (I hate that I forgot her name) who did my bone density x-ray was sooooo kind and gentle. I am reviewing 1/2 way through the process so I don't forget anyone else. I'll be back after the second part of the multiple processes... okay, so exactly two hours later 2:15 and I'm done. I had 4 processes and the results provided. By the time I got to the car, the written report was in my email inbox. I'm not sure why they have such poor reviews but everyone, I mean everyone was kind and gentle.

I was told repeatedly by CR that my Dexa bone density scan would be fully covered by Medicare…read more Medicare covers it every 2 years (3 years since my last one). They entered an additional GA medical code at the end of the Medicare code, which meant to Medicare that the scan should not be covered. When I called asking to change the code so Medicare would cover it, they said my signature approved the code -- something I would not have done if they hadn't told me each time I spoke with someone that the scan was fully covered. This strikes me as potentially being fraudulent or unethical. They tell you one thing but then hand you a pile of papers that each needs to be signed and you have no chance of actually reading the legal-eze (even if read you might not understand it). Medicare only pays $45 for the scan but they are billing me nearly 3 times as much. What they did may be a way to increase their revenues for a low-profit procedure.

Went in for MRI with contrast. The Male technician attempted 3 times to start a needle in both…read morearms, then my hand, was unsuccessful. Each time he attempted to start the line, he dug deeply into the areas, I screamed & cried from severe pain of him digging almost to the bone of both arms and my hand. His attempts were unsuccessful. He mentioned this to the nurse, who responded it wasn't their fault they weren't able to find a vein as i was leaving this location. This facility should be investigated. It's been 3 weeks and my hand is still bruised. Assuming she was a nurse, she made no effort to see if she could assist, not a place to ever return. They both were of different cultures, not caring. The pain I encountered would never have occurred if Male tech had asked for assistance initially, but he punched the needle deep into the veins, and wasn't able to start the medicine. Three strikes, I returned to put my clothes on and left.

Oh my goodness, I read the reviews and mine couldn't be further from the opposite. I had an…read moreawesome experience both times. I hate that I don't remember the technician's name, but getting mammograms can horrible. Even though the machine hurt, she was gentle and kind! I am mostly writing a review because of my call today. I do not have my reports after waiting 10 days - this waiting is agony. I called and spoke with Mary Helen. She was soooooo kind and thoughtful about how the waiting must have been weighing on me that I almost cried. She apologized for the wait and told me that someone should be calling in the next few days b/c the report had been assigned to a radiologist. I told her that it is important for caregivers to do what she just did. That office is super busy. When I went on the 20th, it was packed! However, I was in and out in 20ish minutes. This is my second visit. Both times, the people were more than kind. Now, let's pray for favorable results!

I feel this place was unprofessional. I had an appointment canceled the same day after waiting for…read morean appointment for 2 weeks. It was rescheduled for 2 1/2 weeks later (partly do to my schedule). Upon arrival I waited in line for patient ahead to receive her bottles of liquid to drink. When I went to the counter, I did not have the order which they had previously seen in the system. I had the order text to me within 5 minutes and showed the receptionist and they asked that I emailed it to them which I did. After 5 minutes, I went to confirm them received it and the receptionist and a tech when watching a video on their phone of a child. The receptionist confirmed the email was received but I would have to wait an 1 hour and 15 minutes to be seen since the "tech was with another patient". I questioned if the tech was with a patient because it was an 8 am appointment and there were only 2 ahead of me. The female was still drinking and the male had been seen and left with his jacket. The receptionist went back to check with the tech and was told the earliest I could be seen now was 9:30. The same tech watching the video rode up with me on the elevator. I do not believe they were being honest. Due to work I could not wait around until 9:30 and asked for other appointment time which were again 2 weeks out. I was told to call the other office in Largo and they might have something today. Upon asking if the receptionist could see their schedule the answer was yes and they didn't have anything. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told she was not present. I asked for her number and called later in the day and left a message. I still have not received a call back. I would not recommend this business to anyone. I was able to go elsewhere late afternoon and had a great experience at a different imaging center!
