Just got to London and perfect spot to eat and day drink! Breakfast was delish! Fresh squeezed in their mimosas.

It's like stepping out from Maida Vale into a litlle piece if the continent. The shelves are full of specialist food items that can be difficult to find in a supermarket. Under the glass deli counter is awide array of cheeses and cold cooked meats as well as selection of savoury items including olives and pastes. Their sandwich baguettes are so good and tatsy. The fresh ingedients and almost freshly baked baguettes are mouthwatering . I especially like the mortadella here. They baguettes are not cheap, but reasonably priced. They make a great coffee here, although they are not huge cups, and take them a while to prepare. This is just the sort of local shop that I love to see thrive in an urban environment, often squeezed out by multiples, opening scaled down versions of the larger supermarkets.

I went in there and it started to rain and i had no umbrella, the owner told me to wait and he would drive me home i said no it was okay but that is just what he did enough said would you not agree. Yummy, yummy, yummy food and a real family business. Looking forward to coming in to see you all soon and nibble some of those fab olives. A Weight Watchers nighmare lol but i love it. Lizelite

The main attraction of the shop is definitely the deli counter, where they sell Portuguese cold cuts, cheeses and other specialities. In the back they have the "fish shop", where you can pick from various different kinds of dry-cured fish. Also available here is shelves full of other Portuguese specialities, where you can find tins, biscuits, juices etc. Right by the cashier, there's a shelf full of Portuguese alcohol: Port (obviously), a selection of red & white wines and more hard liquors. The staff is very friendly here. I asked them to show me some typical Portuguese food items and they were very helpful. Confirming the typical stereotype that haunts Portuguese people, the pace at this shop is rather slow. They certainly are not the most efficient folks...but maybe that's the reason why the invented such an amazing variety of specialities? Who knows... Side note: the first time I walked into the shop, I was a bit surprised - to put it mildly - by the smell. At first I couldn't place where exactly it came from, but it turns out to be originating in the fish corner...

You can get, e.g. slices of Polish traditional bread ("Chleb Staropolski") which always reminds me of home. The service is very nice and cares for the customers. Food is obviously very tasty and they claim to have the best BLT sandwiches in the whole London which is most likely very true, especially that you can choose to have it served on the traditional Polish bread mentioned before. The price is very affordable comparing to other places nearby. It's also a very pleasant place to stop for a coffee, as they have great selection of home-made cakes. Location is super convenient as it is just right next to the Kilburn station on the Jubilee line. I will go there often, as it is a perfect choice for breakfast or lunch.

They seem to also offer daily specials meals, last time I went it was a risotto. Their BLT for £3.50 is one of my favourites and is not only good value but tastes great. I would give this place one more star but the standard of my BLT varies too much depending on who makes it, I'm going to have ask them to grill mine for longer from now on! I haven't tried the coffee but it seems some people like to just sit there for a cake and a coffee.
