I had to take a minute to say a few words about this business. I came home home recently and found myself locked out of my garage with no house keys. The garage door was only opening up about 5 inches. I called this business and he told me he would be right out. My husband arrived soon after and was able to get the garage door to open manually. We decided not to cancel the call for service so we could have him change out our hardware and get all doors to open with one key. He followed me to Home Depot to help me shop for the replacement hardware. We quickly got that done and met back at my house where he began working. His work was completed quickly. I purchased my first house and was about to leave town and I needed a locksmith quickly to change all of my locks. My colleague referred me to Mr. Rankin because he was "a great guy" so I called him. He agreed to come out to change all my locks even though I asked him last minute. Mr Rankin not only changed my locks but also educated me on the different types of locks and also how to globally assess my home security risk. He also educated me on places in my home that I was vulnerable to intrusion. He also caught that my locks had other "wafers/balls" in it that allowed the locks to be opened by a previous master key. That worried me a lot because I had no idea. He took out the wafers/balls that allowed another master key to work and relieved my fear.
