Really mixed reviews but I thought I should provide my personal experience. It was a while ago, I apologize for the late review but since I didn't work with Joe specifically that night it slipped my mind until I saw the business show up here on Yelp. Anyway, to the point. I locked myself and my wife out of the house one night when we went to get dinner and realized how stupid I was to not have put the new house key on my ring (we had changed our locks just a few days prior.) I quickly googled for a 24hr locksmith and Joe was one of the first ones to come up. I gave him a call and he answered, I explained what happened and my location. He told me that it was pretty far from him and he wasn't going to be able to do the service that night. Now normally I would put this down as a 1 or 2 star review for not stating somewhere on the website or anywhere that only select areas of town were serviced after hours (this was around 8pm on a weekday.) However, Joe told me that my best bet was to call another guy that did 24hr service and was closer, he gave me the name and number for the other locksmith and told me to let him know if I couldn't reach that guy or any other locksmith closer. This gave me the impression that he would have made the trip out if I was really in dire straights and couldn't get someone else closer. I have a lot of respect for a business owner that will put you in touch with a different business if they believe it will fit your needs better at the time. read more

The cost was a bit more than I was anticipating, but I think it's because we had a complicated key situation and our house had a number of different doors. A previous locksmith was not able to get every door in the house on the same key, and Joe was. Plus he was able to key two separate gate keys for our gardener and pool service folks. He was prompt, punctual and there when he said he would be.
