I asked her to cut 1 inch and she proceeded to cut off around 4-5 inches of my hair which was not what i wanted. I have never experienced such horrible service ever. I walked it with really long hair and walked out with a mess.

I have seen her turn beasts into beauties. Then since let her go. The owner left the place. Bilal has since left the place. The brows have now all been jacked and the good fades have faded away. Since the new management change. Everything has changed. The quality of hair cuts and brow artists. It also smells like some serious body odor up in there. They really need to take care of that because i almost gagged. I love this place for its convenience but I hate it for everything else. I would like to formally resign from being a customer, effective immediately. Goodbye Mario's.... you were once the place to get lined up and brows done nice. I now will travel further to see my girl Sara again. In Summary: The place is small. The chairs are flimsy. It smells like frito-lays and hot garbage in there The customer service is bad Management is bad

I really love this place! I have fine, curly hair & it's really hard to find people that know how…read moreto cut it. I have gotten 2 FANTASTIC cuts from Ailie. What do I mean by fantastic? They are super easy to care for-- like wash and go after using a bit of curl goo. The cuts grow out beautifully. I waited almost 8 months between & my hair still had a great shape. She really knows how to get the most out of your curls. Her cuts always make my hair look fuller. My curls actually curl and don't look like a frizzy mess. Basically, she's a curl master & also fun to chat with. I've also taken my teen girls to Megan. She has helped my younger daughter gracefully grow her hair out from a pixie to a bob and my older daughter (who usually despises getting her hair cut) loved having it cut by Megan & is so happy with the result! She went from long hair to shoulder length bob & its such a flattering cut! As far as the overall vibe at the salon, it's warm, welcoming & laid back. There's plenty of street parking-- mostly meters, but you can find free back on the side streets too. Summary: Aim & Ailie's is a gem! You & your hair should get over there ASAP. If your hair could talk it would definitely say 'Thank you!'

My hair is now glossy, lightweight, and feels very healthy. She thinned my hair out, curled and waved it. Within seconds of walking inside my home, all I hear from my husband is "wowwww, you look so cute!". Thank you, Romelia!

ROMELIA HAS ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY, FRIED MY HAIR AND IT IS FALLING OUT IN CHUNKS!! PLEASE DO NOT GO…read moreHERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HAIR AND SANITY!! :( Romelia made my very healthy, long hair fall out in CHUNKS after overprocessing my hair. She has taken zero accountability or action to resolve this. Even though she fried my hair, she will not refund as she says "a service was provided." Romelia is the most unprofessional person I have ever worked with and should not be allowed to be in business. Romelia disappeared and left me in the chair for over an hour with bleach on my hair while she did laundry/other things. My hair is absolutely fried, I had bleach spots that did not blend, the hair all around my face completely broke off, which will take YEARS to grow back and I was charged for a bayalage, even though she only did a partial highlight. And the worst part is that I reached out to her in an extremely kind manner to resolve this multiple times and she has taken zero accountability for her mistakes. In fact, she read my message I wrote in tears and chose not to respond for 4 days (although she had time to continue posting on instagram) which is extremely unprofessional. I went into the salon with inspiration photos but also seeking Romelia's advice because I told her I wanted to go blonde but my most important goal was to maintain the integrity of my hair. She told me she could do what I asked without a problem or damage. I left with yellow hair, bleach spots throughout and my hair looked like a skunk in a ponytail by how streaky she left it. It was not blended at all and within 2 days, all the hair around my face began breaking off. I messaged her with photos and she asked me to come back in to fix it. I asked her if we could do a root melt to blend my base color into the highlights and tone my hair to fix the brassy blonde. She told me the only two toners in the industry that were available were warm and ash. I know that color is a wide spectrum and that this was not true. I told her I didn't want to be grey and that is exactly how she toned my hair anyways. At the end, I told her I no longer felt blonde and wasn't sure I would get used to it. She told me that she would not charge me and then asked if I wanted a few waves in my hair, I told her yes if she had time and then she proceeded to charge me $50 styling for waves that took her 2 mins and fell out within an hour. A true professional can admit their wrongs and also admit when they don't know how to fix their mistakes (therefore referring you to someone else). I left with grey hair, more bleach spots and my hair falling out into even further chunks. I had to get bangs today by another stylist just to try to hide the damage because my hair is 3 inches long in the front and along the sides now. I have huge holes in my hair (that goes down to my mid back) that I will now need extensions to fill in for the next several years while it grows back. Every stylist in the salon that fixed my hair was shocked at the amount of overprocessing and breakage I had. PLEASE learn from my mistake and do not go here if you value your hair/sanity. These people are crooks and have no idea what they're doing!! Photos posted are of the breakage/bleach spots after the first session and continued breakage after the second. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

They…read morepromoted blowout services, but the advertisement specifically stated that the promotion did "not include African American hair." In 2026, I find it completely unacceptable for a salon to advertise a hair service while explicitly excluding African American hair. Hair texture can vary across every race and ethnicity, so singling out African Americans in the wording of a promotion comes across as discriminatory, offensive, and deeply insensitive. I personally cannot support a business that chooses to advertise its services this way, and I would encourage others to think carefully about where they spend their money. I also would not support any sister salons operating under the same policies or practices.
