    Fresh Sweets!!

This is Las Vegas' first and only all vegetarian Indian restaurant. The restaurant has soft open menu, so the menu is volatile. The ambience is nice and clean the wall decor is great. Some of the dishes we tried 1) Beetroot kola urandai were crispy on the outside and soft from the inside. The taste was unique and it went well with the green chutney. 2) Benne Dosa was very crispy and buttery. They served with 3 chutneys and yummy sambhar. 3)Chole Bhaturey had dal ki pithi stuffed inside and the Chole were cooked properly. The taste was amazing. 4) Rasmalai cheesecake with vegan caviar- This cheesecake had a Rasmalai in the center and cheesecake was set in the same bowl. It was very tasty and subtle cheesecake flavor to it. We enjoyed all the dishes and will come back again soon. The service was top notch! They also have fresh sweets!!

But Delhi Indian Cuisine doesn't play that close up for two hour thing. They're open all day. So I was happy to walk in and get a seat. And not just any seat, I snagged a comfy booth. And I'm all about a comfy booth. I really didn't need to look at the menu, but I did anyway. I knew what I wanted: Vegetable Curry. The waitperson took my order and asked me about my preferred heat level for the curry, on a scale of 1-10. When I saw the skeptical look on the waiteperson's face when I started to say 4-5, I immediately retracted my words. I asked for her advice. She kind of sized me up and then was like, I don't know dude. In a really kind way she pointed out that I'm a white guy, and intimated that it's been her experience that white guys often can't handle the heat. We Asians, she explained, routinely ask for heat level 10. But, uh.... She kind of trailed off, leaving me space to figure it out. I started to say something and she cut me off. I'll just start you at Spice Level 3, and I'll bring you some onions and peppers on the side. Perfect, I said. Well, as it turned out Spice Level 3 actually was perfect for me. I think I could've handled Level 4, but I was really happy with 3. The peppers that were served with the curry were fiery AF, and perfect if you wanted to add a little kick to your curry. The Vegetable Curry was loaded with vegetables, and that was fine by me. I loved that it came with rice. No extra charge. I loved the Garlic Naan I ordered, and noted that it was quite different than any other I've tried; it was much thinner and loaded with an insane amount of garlic, I settled into that comfy booth like I was going to be there for the duration. And I nearly was. I'd like to say I finished that order of Vegetable Curry, but I didn't quite. It was a healthy sized serving. Left out of there feeling great and looking forward to visiting again in the future. Mikey C says: thank you, Delhi Indian Cuisine!

The steamed chicken momos were incredibly juicy, flavorful, and made fresh to order. The traditional Nepali momo achar (chutney) was perfectly spicy and added the authentic taste that reminded me of Nepal. The restaurant offers some of the best Nepali food, Himalayan cuisine, and Indian food in Las Vegas. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming.

What makes this place stand out for me is the atmosphere on the weekends. The live belly dancing performances bring great energy to the room, and having a DJ keeps the vibe going throughout the night. It turns dinner into an experience rather than just another meal out. I also love that they have a fully stocked bar, making it easy to enjoy a drink while taking in the entertainment. The space is larger than most people expect and would be perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or private events. Great food, fun entertainment, and a lively atmosphere keep me coming back.

We thought, oh it's early for a Saturday dinner I guess. Literally no other people came in the entire hour we dined. Should've told us something! We didn't get our drinks for a good ten minutes and when they arrived I was surprised that my Gin Fizz (off their cocktail menu) looked a lot more like a Tom Collins. Never seen a Gin Fizz that was clear and sticky/carbonated. But it did taste good. I had the fish curry (Indian menu). The coconut curry was globby and sweet, the texture of custard and not velvety or smooth. The dish was like a hybrid of fish and coconut cream pie. Very bland. Sweet fish. No no no. My partners chicken tikka murgh was much better. The garlic naan was amazing. I noticed the prices went up quite a lot. 6 months ago when I first bookmarked this place, fish curry was $21. Last night I think we paid $26. Similar increase on all menu items. Very beautiful and intimate setting. We were immediately impressed when we sat down. But the food and drinks... very meh!

It definitely didn't disappoint. The dish was rich, flavorful, and surprisingly filling even though it was a vegetarian option made with lentils. Beyond the food, I really liked the atmosphere. The green and purple accents in the decor felt intentional and tied into the cultural theme. The walls were decorated with detailed artwork showing people dancing and playing instruments, along with animals like tigers and elephants, which gave the space a vibrant, cultural feel.

Paired it with the trio of chutney's and all of them were amazing, but the Tamarind chutney... I need that packaged up in a bottle, that alone complimented all of the breads perfectly. The Fish Moilee Masala was an amazing warming curry, and that sea bass was so well cooked it melted in your mouth. The seafood stir fry was nice & flavorful, can definitely split it between two people. The Crown Lassi Luxe drink was very sweet and balanced, not overpowering at all. I tried the Majaraja of Patiala (Rosehip Chai) but as a zero proof/non-alcoholic drink, that also didn't disappoint. It was served warm which surprised me; I will say the drink itself (under the cream) tasted watery but still had depth of flavor. I'd order that again, but maybe mix the cream in next time. Kept it light for dessert with the mango sorbet, a perfect small size to curve my sweet tooth and end of dinner lightly. And our server brought out complimentary chocolates for us too! From the atmosphere, to the check in process, to the kindness of the staff, and even during our exit - Tamba exceeded every checkbox. I didn't come in with expectations as I haven't eaten at many Indian restaurants, but Tamba now sets the bar extremely high for me. I can't wait to go back!!

We ordered the paneer tikka and chicken mandi from their extensive Mandi House menu. The paneer tikka was flavorful and well-prepared. The chicken mandi, however, was just okay - not bad, but didn't particularly stand out. The portions were absolutely massive - honestly too much to finish in one sitting. Unfortunately, since the food wasn't amazing enough to get excited about leftovers, we ended up leaving quite a bit behind, which felt wasteful.[Attachment] That said, I'm giving this place 4 stars primarily because finding quality halal food in Las Vegas can be challenging, and Hashtag India fills that need nicely. The restaurant is halal-certified (as shown by the halal certification seal on their menu), which is a huge plus for those looking for halal dining options on the Strip. The menu offers a wide variety of mandi options including vegetarian and meat choices, with different portion sizes available. The space is family-friendly and the service was decent. Bottom line: While the food might not blow you away, it's a reliable spot for halal Indian food in Vegas. The generous portions are great if you're very hungry or sharing, but be prepared for leftovers you might not want to save. Worth a visit if you're craving Indian cuisine or need halal options during your trip
