The haircuts aren't too bad. One time I was in the place reeked of sewage the whole time and no one said anything about it. Today I walked up at 2:55 and the sign still showed "Open" even though they close at 3. I really needed a haircut and was grateful to see the sign still open. Didn't even realize they closed insanely early on Saturdays. I open the door and get told they're not taking any more cuts. Ten minutes later and the sign still reads "open". When the haircuts are pretty average, the service makes the difference. And that service is average too. I prefer getting above average cuts at places with above average service. read more

When I sat down I specifically asked Allison if she was comfortable doing beards. She assured me she was. I explained to her very specifically that I wanted my sides brought down just a little and that I didn't want to lose any length on my goatee. (I keep a fairly long beard). She proceeded to take a two guard to the entire thing. Brought it down to damn near clean shaven. This was not at all what I asked for. After leaving and looking in my car mirror I realized that she also left my lines completely uneven. If you're not comfortable trimming a bigger beard, why on earth would you say you are? I'm never letting anyone there touch my beard ever again. Absolutely awful experience. As an update, she didn't use anything behind my head (a towel etc) to catch hair, so now me and my car are covered in loose hairs. read more

This is a great place to get a hair cut. I've been going to Randy's for a couple of months and really like all three of the barbers. It's starting to get busier so a lot of times you need an appointment to avoid a wait but that's not really my style. It feels upscale but is on $12 for a haircut so it's a nice change of pace from the dirty places I've been going to. They run a lot of coupons for new customers so keep an eye out for that. But I like a friendly feel and to where I can be specific and have them follow my instructions for what I want. He gives recommendations but let's you choice what you thinks best. Randy has been cutting my hair since 2004, when he was at Campus Cuts, and more recently at Kutters before he opened up his own place. I've stuck with him because he cuts hair exactly how you want it, does his best to schedule you at a time that is most convenient for you, and he takes care of his loyal customers. Few businesses or people do all of that. When he called me and told me he had opened up his own place, I couldn't be happier for him. His "barber shop" is very clean, nicely styled, comfortable, spacious, and reasonable on the wallet for haircuts. read more

I really tried to work with a specific barber at this shop, but after the 3rd messed up hair line, I was done. The frist time I went there the hair line was not good, but I gave him a pass, and $20 for the cut (my mother owns a womens hair salon in NYC, so I know its hard work; I always tip well.) The second time, he seemed frustrated that I was his last hair cut, and was delaying his drive back home. He rushed the cut, and really messed up my hairline again. I still gave him a 5 tip. In addition, he tried to use a razor blade twice on me that had not been changed, or disinfected; Hepatitis B is real!! Either way, after 3 full attempts ( the last he tried to just tell me it was my hairline and not him rushing it, or again working through lunch time), I've just decided to move on. Must say, Randy does seem like a nice guy (was always busy so I never got a hair cut with him.), and the place was kept very clean all the time. read more

I heard a lot of good stuff about this place, but after going there the respect and treatment I received was not up to expectations. The barber Cody seemed like he was in a rush the whole time, hardly spoke if I asked him anything, generally seemed rude and uninterested. He also tried to cut my hair so quickly that he kept slamming the machine against my head, not at all gentle. And in the end, the haircut was not even worth the $10 I paid. I really couldn't believe that that's the treatment I got. I will not be going back for sure. read more

This is the worst haircut I have ever gotten. I would have rather gone to a chain like SportClips. I took an Uber out both ways to travel miles for this place that seemed to have good reviews. The woman who cut my hair smelled like cigarettes and had red hair. She obviously didn't care about what she was doing or lacked knowledge on how to cut hair properly because I left with patchy sides and messed up side burns. I used to have an unfair biased of what $12 hair cuts got you, being that the only haircuts i got growing up for $12 was the standard bowl cut from the great cuts in wal mart (I know, wasn't my choice). Needless to say I was very aprehensive. I can tell you without a doubt, Randy and the other barbers KNOW how to cut men's hair. I went there to have my son's haircut. I had just a few minute wait while the hairdresser finished up on the little boy already there. When finished, the floor was not swept before asking us to sit, leaving me to climb over hair that was all over the floor and chair. My son had to use an adult cape and no towel was placed around his or my neck. I was not sure if any of the clippers or combs were clean or if the towel used to wipe his face after was clean or if it was the same towel used on the other kid. The cut was decent but the person only seemed semi friendly and was certainly not making any extra effort to make it a good experience. read more

I've been coming to this Randy's location for 4 years now. Two lady's who've worked here deserve the 5-star praise: Emily & Jen! Best skills with hair and great people. Quality fades, trims, thinning, scissor use, and great with blades. I usually don't care to talk to hairstylists but these people were so genuine that it was natural. I did have one bad experience 4 years ago at the other Randy's location where my cut didn't meet my description or quality and was left with terrible cuts (minor lacerations, edema, and erythema) on my neck. Well these hairstylists mentioned above apologized for their colleague and made up for it by fixing that cut. Ever since that kind gesture, they earned my business. It was great to be considered a regular client here for so long. Also prices did go up due to Covid-19 restrictions on their business, but it's well worth it. The first two times that I went there, I had the same barber. I can't remember the guy's name-- it wasn't the owner though. Those two times I ended up getting a pretty good haircut. I went in there for a third time, today, I had a different barber. He didn't really give me that good of a haircut. He seemed very rushed. It's a good place depending who you get.
